Looks like Ryan is taking his Oscar snub A LOT better than Russell Crowe! LOLz!
During a recent interview, Ryan Gosling opened up about NOT getting nominated for his fantastic performances in Drive and The Ides of March!
Here's what he had to say when asked if he felt snubbed by the Academy:

True that! Just as we felt the movie Drive should have been nominated for Best Picture, we're also of the opinion that the movie's stars deserved a little recognition from the Academy this year. And we're not the only ones…
Russell Crowe took to his Twitter yesterday after hearing that Ryan Gosling and Albert Brooks got snubbed by the Oscars and shared his two cents with the world. Needless to say, he's not very pleased that their performances have been overlooked from this critically acclaimed picture. He wrote:

So dumb!
A beautiful Iranian actress has been banned from her home country because of this tasteful "nude" photo (above) she took for a French magazine.
Golshifteh Farahani, who played opposite Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe in Body of Lies, and is SUPER famous in Iran — but was just informed she's not welcomed back.
Farahani says

We cannot even BEGIN to discuss how excited we are for this!
The cast is worth ticket prices ALONE!
Tom Hooper is hard at work on his film adaptation of the Broadway smash Les Misérables, with Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Sacha Baron Cohen having already signed on, and Eddie Redmayne recently taking the role of Marius and Aaron Tveit as Enjolras!
But now, we're hearing that two young ladies have been offered the arguably most-anticipated roles, and it appears that Amanda Seyfried will playing Cosette, while Taylor Swift takes on

Yeeeeaaaahhhh, b*tches! It's confirmed!
Anne Hathaway just signed that paper committing herself to act in the Universal Pictures adaptation of Les Miserables.
Whoo! It was already good with eye candy like Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe, but now it's just gonna be fun!
Annie will play Fantine. Perrr-fEct!
And, as expected, Universal will be releasing the film right in time for top shelf Oscar buzz — December 7, 2012.

Boo! We really thought she'd make an AMAZING addition to this cast!
Despite reports suggesting otherwise, Emma Watson will reportedly NOT be portraying Cosette in the upcoming adaptation of the musical Les Misérables, at least according to lead Hugh Jackman!
Luckily, however,

Seriously, whoever is in charge of the casting department for this is just freakin' genius. We know most of you are shaking your heads and going, "This is just going to be like musical Valentine's Day: tons of celebs with no substance."
We have one word for you: Chicago. Go watch Renee Zellweger work it as Roxie and then come talk to us.
Okay, here's the scoop:

Russell Crowe is now officially Jor-El, Superman's daddy in the upcoming Zack Snyder/Christopher Nolan reboot of the franchise!
He's now in the final stages of negotiations for the part once played by Marlon Brando in 1978, which Nolan had been looking to fill with an A-list star. Looks like he got his man!
This was one of the last parts to cast, but they're also looking for someone to play Supe's biological mom as well. Not much is known about the plot so far, in typical Nolan fashion.
Congrats to Russell, and we've thought about it and are really coming around to the idea of it being a good fit for him!
How about U guys? U feelin' the Crowe??
