after her appearance on dave and announcement of her divorce, she should have tried to stay away from the paps as much as possible and released a statement saying she wanted to spend time with her family since it was a difficult time. she should have gotten her ass back to kentwood for a while. then she should have started to put her comeback album together as soon as she was ready to get back to business and return to her prime britney physique. then she should have spent the summer, working her ass off while trying to stay out of the public's attention as possible. then, she should have made her comeback in an amazing (surprise if possible) VMA performance reminiscent of the ones from her glory days. if she was ready to debut a new song, great. even if she wasn't, people would just want to see her performing again, even if she was doing old material. a kickass vma performance would show people that she was back and ready reclaim her throne as the princess of pop. after a few weeks, she could do a sit down interview with one of the newsmagazines. but only if she had a crapload of preparation, spoke coherently, and didn't chew gum. in this interview, she could basically erase the last 3 or 4 years by stating that marrying KFed was a mistake and the one good thing to come out of it was her children…that she got married too young and thought she knew everything there was to know about life when in reality, she was stubborn, naive, and should have listened to her parents. she should acknowledge that her children and family are the most important things to her. basically, owning up to her mistakes, but not playing victim.
