After reading some of these comments I have come to realize that most of yall are str8 haters!! and for no good reason. She sings well, she dances well, shes pretty and she has a nice body. Now acting she does not do well. But hating on her for anything other than her lack of acting skills is just ridiculous and nobody was doing that until the media over exsposed her.

I personally went to see the musical adaption of Aida and it was extremely good. One of the best plays I ever seen in my entire life. I personally don't like Beyonce but in all honesty she is a good singer. Now, do I think she's a good actress? No. I'm am so sick of seeing singers trying to become actresses and vise versa. Aida is a great musical and I do not think she would be up to part with the role. I don't think she looks the part and I don't think her voice will be all that great. Why can't they just stick to their roots and have Heather Hedley perform in the Film Version? Just because Beyonce has the name and status does not mean the movie will be a hit. Ex: Dreamgirls…hit, Rent…no so big of a hit, Chicago…HIT! I am just hoping that this is a rumor and that they find someone else more capable and talented to play the part. I can even see Jennifer Hudson playing the part more than Beyonce. Jennifer is the better actress. If she can lose some weight (which I'm sure she can do) she'll be better to play the part.

All she’s talented at is shaking her huge ba-dunk-a-dunk, stealing other artist’s songs and their stage ideas. First she took one of my favorite songs EVA (Kissing You) and remade it without Desree's (the original singer of the song) permission and fucking BUTCHERED it with her pathetic depthless hip hoppy version and OH–MY-GOD the video…well what can I say–it totally SUCKED ASSSSSS…once again like in all of her videos she was practically naked.
I mean she had the nerve to cover such a beautiful song while rolling around on the ground posing for the camera in a bathing suit. What a superficial bitch. As someone who saw the show on Broadway twice and performed in it as well Beyonce is not a good fit because this show does not revolve around hip hop or r & b music, it is a standard musical theatre show. I think that they should definetly consider Heather Headly. Also I can just see her complaining about the fact that she not going to be in a glamorous, ornate costume in the entire show.
