Barbara Walters was not on the show when we taped it. However, we did get to meet her backstage. Barbara Wawa took the time to come and say hello to Perezzers. She's a living legend and a classy lady!
Barbara told us personally that she will be hiring two new co-hosts for The View this coming season. So that fresh new blood should make things very interesting.
Whoopi Goldberg was the "moderator" on our episode, and Miz Walters told us she didn't want to appear on our show because she has a tendency to commandeer the conversation and play the moderator role herself.
The odds of Whoopi being on The View next season are VERY good. She's probably the #1 frontrunner.
Who will take the #2 spot? That is the bigger question.

YES, I watched it! You did a fabulous job… loved the white jacket and shirt! I will have to say though, that I do love Elizabeth. You did a great job with her confrontation. oh perez…those bitches were out for blood! i understand you were nervous, but there are 3 points i wish you would have made in response to their attacks:
1) regarding your outing of gay celebs– well, i can't speak for you but personally, as a gay person, it pisses me off when celebs are OBVIOUSLY homo (such as CLAY AIKEN), yet they remain in the closet, propagating the notion that being gay is dirty, undesirable, and shameful.
2) you don't say anything which is not already on everyone's minds. if a celeb's baby is fat, well…it's FAT. and most likely, anyone who views a picture of said fat baby in the tabloids would at least think to themselves, "wow that baby is FAT!" if not verbally express that FACT to other people in casual conversation. besides, people come to your blog BECAUSE you say the shit we are "too polite" to say, and you happen to indulge that starving inner BITCH in all of us.
3)it's bullshit. it's YOUR blog, YOUR opinions. if people don't like it, they can get their gossip fix elsewhere (but why would they!?).

Re: celebrity kids. They get all the benefits of their parent's fame, money, clothes, mansion, Hollywood lifestyle, access to exclusive restaurants and clubs, so why shouldn't they get some of the burdens? I think it's fine. Especially for kids that go into the club lifestyle, they are really trading on their parent's name there so it's only fair that they should get some of the burden of it as well.
