Katie's Not Going Anywhere

Despite lackluster ratings, CBS is sticking behind their evening news host, Katie Couric.

"She has a five-year contract with CBS to anchor the evening news," CBS News President Sean McManus said on Thursday. "All of us, including Katie, expect her to be anchoring the evening news in her fifth year."

It's probably cheaper keeping her than paying out her contract.

Unless she continues to destroy their ratings even more!

    Who watches network evening news anyways. Isn't that the last thing you want to do when you get home from work. Listen to all the BS. I'd rather watch the Food Network. The ratings are falling because of the internet. It's so much better for news than TV, I think. Drudgereport.com is the best.

    I've never liked her. Many times she would try to conduct a interview with a person who had a latin name, and she thought it was cute not being able to pronounce it. Now that she is not on nbc, I enjoy the morning show!! When she leaves cbs, I'll start watching.
