Gwen Stefani is mad…..suing mad!

The singer and designer has filed a lawsuit against retail chain Forever 21, PerezHilton.com has learned.

In the suit, filed in Los Angeles, Stefani claims that Forever 21 has stolen designs from her Harajku Lovers and L.A.M.B. clothing lines.

Being fashionable can get quite ugly!

Yes, Forever 21 provides affordable fashion to girls who cannot afford designer duds, but it's at the expense of legitimate designers. It's not hard to design basic; yet, fashionable items for the average Forever 21 shopper. Just doodle something cute and make a pattern out of it. Gwen has every right to sue. Intellectual property is still property. Besides… Forever 21 may be a cheap thrill, but only with the aid of the shoddy workmanship provided by sweatshop workers and the low-grade materials used to make the tween clothing. At least you know you're getting a quality item when you purchase authentic.

The Gwen Stefani line is ridiculously expensive and she's out of her mind if she thinks "normal" people can afford it. I think she's been hanging with rich people for too long cos I'm not paying 400 bucks for a cropped sweater that I can get at Forever 21 for 20 bucks. Her prices are as dumb as her.

I'm on Gwen's side on this for sure. I work at a store that is like Forever21 in San Diego. The store is independently owned, so the owner/manager buys the merchandise in Los Angeles every week. His wife has told me that Forever21, Wet Seal, Papaya, Toda Moda, and our store get all the merchandise at the same warehouses. A lot of the warehouses are owned by Koreans, and if you didn't know Koreans are business makers. Koreans own Forever21! A lot of the stores at my mall are owned by Koreans. Their career is all about making money by having a retail business. And if copying other designs gives them more money then they are going to still do it. Forever21 is really cheap. Almost all of their clothing is to be hand-washed because its made poorly. Lamb on the other hand is way better. The material is much better, even if it is 100% cotton. There's a difference between cheap cotton and quality cotton.

Lamb is also NOT TREMENDOUSLY MASSED PRODUCED. There is a limit that is made which makes it more wanted by her fans. Yes there are a lot of people that can't afford it, but its plain stupid to buy a knockoff. People that buy knockoffs just look ridiculous. It makes them look cheap. I'm sorry, but I HATE knockoffs. It makes the designer brands lose its quality and value. Why do we want the luxury items? Because its LUXURY. People settle for less to try and fill that void of wanting designers items. A few months ago I read in Bazaar Magazine that there is this Anti Counterfeiting group that is trying to stop those manufacturers that make fake Louis Vuitton, Dior, Chanel, Gucci, etc.

If those people that are still talking crap about lamb being extremely over priced, there are other brands that do the same thing. For example, Juicy Couture. Their clothing is A LOT MORE plain than lamb. The two women that created this brand are just random women that wanted a clothing line. Gwen Stefani is known, and wearing her clothing is more "special" than wearing Juicy Couture. I mean Juicy is cute, but its more expensive than lamb. Which would you buy if you had to choose between those two brands?

Lamb and Harajuku Lovers are brands that are more fun. The fact that its sold in certain stores makes it "exclusive." So you know for sure someone will have what you've go on because you didn't buy it at Forever21 (since its everywhere now).

this is the reality, forever 21 has been doing this over a decade, they know what they are doing and know they are protected by the law….
i was scouted to be their production manager, didn't take the job but what was so interesting was the interviewer was so passionate about telling me how forever21 is a wonderful company that gives poor girls a chance to look fabulous…i thought she was going to tear up right in front of me…they think they are some philanthropists….please…

anyways, no real fashion exists in america, it's just imitation after imitation…since trend goes in and out so fast these days, just shop for clothes at forever 21 and throw them away after 1 month…but do invest on a high-end handbag or accessories that will complement the whole outfit

If you can not afford to buy LAMB, you can buy from forever21 as long as you don't buy knock-offs!!! "Affordable price" doesn't mean cheap!!! You can still look fashionable!!! BUT There is one thing to remember!!! Do not support the company who is making $$$$ out of somebody else's design. If you wear "Knock-Off" You look cheap!!!
