Allegra Comes Out To Play

Donatella Versace's daughter Allegra, who has suffered a years-long battle with anorexia, made a rare public appearance in Milan on Monday. And it seems like the poor little girl is still not doing well.
The whole Versace clan came out to La Scala to attend a memorial celebration for the late Gianni Versace, who passed away ten years ago this summer.
We hope Allegra is taking care of herself and getting the help she needs!

Not for nothing but it's so strange that her daughter should have an eating disorder, I guess it was being around all those skinny models. I hope she continues to get help and I hope her mother keeps her face, it seems to be slipping off. The young buck is kind of cute in a nerdy I'm hung sought of way.

Gianni did not "pass away." He was viciously murdered. His death is part of the reason she is so sick. It was a horribly traumatic event for Allegra.
She is still very thin, but looking better than she used to. Hope she continues to improve.

perez you're on crack, she doesn't look great but does look a bazillion times better than any other photo i've seen of her. usually her cheeck bones and skull are showing. it's kinda lame when someone with this disease starts to get better only to get slammed for not looking normal enough. dude research some photos, and i think you'll agree that she is getting better. (Oh in about 2 seconds I found out she's been getting treatment for the last year, but I guess that's 'not doing' anything by your book.)
Gianni knew something was wrong with Allegra, which is why he left her as his primary heir. Life can't be easy for her with Donatella as her mom. I wish her all the best in recovering.
I still want to know who paid Andrew Cunanan to kill Gianni. Everyone loved the man!!! And the only people who had anything to gain from his death were his brother and sister, Donatella — who happened to be feuding with him at the time for control of the company. That's a cold case someone should be looking into.

Considering her mom's career, being surrounded by gorgeous models who weigh next to nothing, she will never get better. She will be living with some degree of anorexia or bulimia for the rest of her life. Sad but true.
Of course the girl is a mess. Look at her life. Far from balanced or anyway near normal. Her mother is a man and probably really her father, her beloved uncle shamelessly murdered, she has grown up very rich in public and had to endure the overly critical fashion industry. The poor child never got to be just a kid.

Anorexia is a "disease" of the rich and selfish. I have a treatment idea: Vacation in Africa. A hut, several starving babies and no mirrors for a month could be the cure she needs. Eat and get over yourself.
Allegra is still a very pretty girl despite her struggle with anorexia. I really hope she can turn things around. It must be so hard on her family to watch her shrink right before their eyes. Thank god Allegra did not inherit her mother's looks.
