Donatella Versace's daughter Allegra, who has suffered a years-long battle with anorexia, made a rare public appearance in Milan on Monday. And it seems like the poor little girl is still not doing well.
The whole Versace clan came out to La Scala to attend a memorial celebration for the late Gianni Versace, who passed away ten years ago this summer.
We hope Allegra is taking care of herself and getting the help she needs!

This just reinforces the fact that all the money in the world can't make you happy. I may not have a tenth of the material things this little girl has, but I still feel so badly for her.

She is such a beautiful girl. I hope she can overcome her eating disorder. God knows it can't be easy growing up in an industry where eating disorders are a must to be successful.

One would think that if her daughter was suffering from anorexia that her mother might re-think what she does for a living? PErhaps her mother might pick a career not surrounded my super-skinny models, many of themselves suffering from anorexia? I guess money and fame is more important than your daughter's mental and physical health.
Donatella's son is named Daniel. He's 18.

oh man i hope allegra doesn't read this. Anorexia is such a horrible, destructive disease and I know, as someone still struggling with the disease myself, that the moment someone says you're looking healthier you immediatley become ashamed that your weight gain is visible, and it all goes downhill. So you may be wondering "how do you tell them that you notice them getting better?' YOU SIMPLY SAY YOU SEEM LIKE YOU'RE GETTING STRONGER. I KNOW YOU CAN PULL THROUGH THIS."
if you know someone trying to fight anorexia, please please please DONT mention weight gain even if they still look very thin. To them, it just translates to they need to erase the progress they made.
Allegra, I really hope you can find a way to overcome this. Or at least give it hell.
P.S.- I love the family in black. The Adams Family is amazing. and quite chic.

and people, anorexia this extreme is NOT caused by being around fashion models or having a mother in the fashion industry. I'm sure the pressures may be more palpable, but it is NOT a responsibility for the disease. Extreme emotional damage must be there for someone to STARVE themselves. People with anorexia that bad are not mentally well. And that's okay. Trust me- Allegra is not starving herself to be a skinny little fashionista. No fucking way. She is starving herself to DEATH and is obviously very depressed and this is her way of self-enflicted punishment for emotional distraughtment. Don't blame anyone- it's no one's fault. I hope she gets well.

my friend went to rehab with allegram and supposedly about 4 months ago she was near death and all her oragns were failing, she has been at the ucla medical s=center for a while but doesnt seem to be making much progresss
I remember seeing the photographs ( in the newspapers_ of the young woman at her Uncle's funeral ten years ago, she was only a little girl and looked absolutely devastated in those photos.
It should be no surprise that this young woman and her family are having personal problems.
I hope the kid can live a healthy life, and I'm sorry but Donatella has to be the ugliest woMAN in the fucking world.

Don't ever put a deadly disease like anorexia in quotes and do not reduce years of suffering, sickness, and pain from a disorder that has almost killed me and many others to something that the "the rich and selfish" chose to do to themselves. It is not something you control, it is something that controls you. I am certainly not rich/famous/whatever and yet this disease has ruined many years and continues to be something I deal with everyday. Here's a thought, if you know nothing about something…do us all a favor and shut the fuck up.
