Perez is right on the money, Cooper made a clear allegation when he said: Clearly, he (her husband) have nothing to worried about. Hey, he lives with his partner, he is probably openly gay in his personal live, but he doesn't have to say it in teh news…Good night, I'm gay and here are the news….

In my opinion, gays like Perez that want everybody "out" are wrong. People, all people, have a right to privacy and to not discuss what they do in their private life. Gays are being terrorize, not by heterosexuals, but by other gays. Very, very sad.

He said: "…clearly doesn't have anything to be nervous about". First, I'm sure he is gay, however, I think his comment in that conversation was meant more as, "I know you're happily married and I'm not interested in you anyway" sort of thing as opposed to him "outing" himself.

Perez, I think that it is great that you so encourage people to come out, however, sometimes I feel that you are a bully about it. Anderson Cooper and Jodie Foster are two examples of celebrities who take a no comment stance on their personal relationships and yet you continually harass and denegrate them because of it. If he wants to announce on CNN primetime that he is gay than I'd be more than happy about it, but if he doesn't than I respect his decision as well. (even if "his" decision may be affected in many ways by the reaction of his conservative bosses and the average american viewer) His career is obviously something he loves and cares about and he seems to enjoy working at CNN. It even seems as though most of his co-workers are aware of his private life and respect it as just that. He doesn't need to make himself a martyr for the homosexual cause, so stop trying to make him into one.

He is a classy guy. He's gay, but I don't hold anything against him for not trumpeting it off rooftops. He is the best newsperson on TV, IMO. I think that he fears that people would not take him as seriously if he was out, and force gay issues down his throat, expecting him to march on Washington in support of gay marriage. Being "out" shouldn't affect him as a journalist, but the sad reality is, that it probably would.

I don't think that necessarily meant, "Your husband has nothing to worry about because I'm gay and you're a woman so I am clearly not interested in you." It simply could have meant, "Your husband has nothing to worry about because you and I are just friends" or "because I know you're married" or "because you're not my kind of woman." It could mean any of those things AS WELL AS "because I'm gay." But I think it's an open for interpretation comment. All that aside, he's hot.

Anderson Cooper was out before working at CNN but went back the closet. He use to attend the GLAAD Awards, HRC meeting and NLGJA but no longer because he don't want people to perceive him to be gay.

And the comment he has nothing to fear for being openly gay to the media while working at CNN, you should check what happen to Thomas Roberts. CNN quickly demoted Thomas Roberts right after he came out to the world and it force him to quit.
