Tammy Faye Mesner has passed away at the age of 65.
After fighting a very brave fight with inoperable lung cancer, her poor little body - which whittled down to just 65 lbs recently - could finally not fight any more. She let go on Friday. Her body has been cremated already and buried.
Just this past week, Tammy Faye appeared on Larry King Live. She said that she was in constant pain but had no fear of death. Even at her lowest point, her faith was unshakable.
Our heart is sad, but we are glad that she is no longer in pain.
You're in God's hands now, Tammy Faye.

I was actually just watching her on LK a couple of hours ago and it made me cry how fast she her cancer progressed, and now I come on here and see that she has passed away. It saddens me even more. It could not have happened to someone less deserving of this horrible disease. RIP Tammy Faye.
now there's a lady that may have looked superficial but was genuine, caring and tough. she was definitely a bright spot on the american landscape. i'm going to miss her.
