63 People Arrested During John Mayer Concert
Police said they made 63 arrests tonight at the John Mayer concert at the Hersheypark Stadium
Officials said 46 people were accused of underage drinking; 14 of disorderly conduct; and three each of public drunkenness, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. The names of those charged were not immediately released.
Derry Twp. police was assisted at the venue by officers from the state police Liquor Control Enforcement and the Dauphin County Drug Task Force.

So 63 people were arrested…what did that leave at the concert? About 100 people? I drove by Hersheypark Stadium during John Mayer's concert last night and there had to be 30,000 empty seats in attendance.

So…. I'm thinking that there were 63 CHARGES and not 63 people arrested… seems like the same 3 people who got charged with posession of pot might be the same ones who got charged with posession of drug paraphenalia, and the 3 for public drunkenness could have also been charged because they were underage… I guess you wouldn't be able to determine with since they didn't release the names, only the number of arrests.
So, just saying that it's easy for these numbers to look inflated, but I still think it's funny that people need to get so wasted to be able to enjoy a JM concert that there were 63 arrests.
But how many arrests are there at other concerts for this type of thing?

John did a great show and talked between songs about how its okay to not always have what you want and implied being single because he said it's good to go "hungry" for awhile. Stabs at JSimp, all around! Okay maybe I just wanted it to be, but his show was amazing and I loved Fugs!

The last time I went there I found out AFTER I got there that there was a backstreet boys concert. The rides were overrun by obcessed teenagers, it was terrible.
All you had to do to clear up the line was say 'I saw them over at boardwalk fries' and they would scream and run in a massive group to the said location.
They should be arrested for being creepy.

Someone said something about ticket sales will rise after this comes out…I am a big JM fan….have been to many of his concerts, my last being the 28th in Chicago Tickets were all SOLD OUT right after they went on sale…making him book two shows. If his tickets sales rise it won’t be because of some underage drunks who do not know how to contain themselves. It would be because people hear great things from his fans that see him in concert and want to see his exceptionally great talent for themselves….. That blows that they had to be a distraction at the concert.
