63 People Arrested During John Mayer Concert
Police said they made 63 arrests tonight at the John Mayer concert at the Hersheypark Stadium
Officials said 46 people were accused of underage drinking; 14 of disorderly conduct; and three each of public drunkenness, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. The names of those charged were not immediately released.
Derry Twp. police was assisted at the venue by officers from the state police Liquor Control Enforcement and the Dauphin County Drug Task Force.

That's absolutely ridiculous and really says nothing about John Mayer or his fans. Hershey Park is the strictest venue everrrrr I've seen Dave Matthews Band on tour over 10 times and the one time I saw them at Hershey Park, there were like 100+ arrests for drinking/drugs which didn't seem to add up because the crowd was just like the crowd at all their other concerts.
He DOES look like Eddie Munster. James Morrison is AWESOME! That's why I hate going to shows here. Who doesn't get high at a concert, especially at an amusement park? My only gripe is the assholes who can't just chill and shut the fuck up. They ruin it for everybody. That only happens here. The west coast is chiller than a mofo.

i was at the concert. it was amazing. some guy told us PA girls really know how to drink. my friends and i proved him correctly. also, the paddy wagon was right in the parking lot waiting to take people away.

Hershey is a small town with traditional values. People need to keep that in mind when they go there. John's concert in Philly was sold out and there was some smokin' going on, but since Philly has a murder-a-day to keep the police busy, no one was concerned about a little pot.

Now that shit is crazy..people in hershey just don't know how to act…it's kinda funny hearing this because i went to his concert on the july 20th the day before….JOHN KILLED that shit at the tweeter center in Camden NJ, which is one of the most ghetto cities you live…philadelphia is right across the river and its ashame that every perfomer never shout out camden not even the opener when their in the middle of there set the always say I LOVE YOU PHILLY… bu there was a lot old mom jean wearin drunk white people at the show they were the second most entertaing part of the concert.. BEST SHOW I'VE EVER BEEN TO.

Wow…I saw him a few weeks ago and the only one I saw a bit drunk was my husband, but I understood…I think he would have rather been at the dentist, but good husband he is, He was a sport and took me. I really enjoy John's guitar playing…He can be an excellent blues guitarist…But for real, I dont like the faces he makes when he plays. He does look much better with his hair cut, too. Anyway…Since they were at Hershey Park, which is right in Amish country, maybe it was all those Amish kids letting loose…Wait, how can kids afford to get drunk at a concert with those $10.00 beers? i hope you all realize this is the end of concerts…. they're now going to be clean and sober events where everyone is just listening to sounds and pretending like it's an incredibly different and exciting experience that helps to escape from the droll boring monotonous daily cycle of life that we're all living in. it sucks, so in order to ensure our grandchildren can have fun, experimental, and interesting lives, we need to fight back against our country's increasing reliance on religion as a weapon against harmless promiscuous behavior and enlighten our citizens about the importance of enjoying oneself and fulfilling ones desires in their short existence on this incredible planet

This show was amazing but it was like being stuck in a sea of middle aged men and women trying to relive there younger years by challenging each other to who could out drink who. Me personally, I was next about a group of 20 of them that all came together, and there kids were in the rows to the right of us. I wonder who was driving their children home, since they could barely walk.
There was a group of girls in the parking lot in the line to leave drinking boxed wine out of solo cups while driving. Now that's classy.

I went to his concert in St.Louis and there were definately about the same amount that were drunk there! Including a very underage Princess that puked all over the grass……right next to me!

A). There were over 11,000 tickets sold. 11,000 tickets sold when John Mayer played Friday night 80 miles away and Sunday night about 160 miles away. Pretty kickass amount of sales for John to do when he was so close other times.
B). The venue was never going to be setup as a "full" show.
C). Who honestly gives a shit about arrests? The only reason this is made "such" a big deal is because of the underage drinking.
There isn't a whole lot else TO do in Hershey.

i was there, it was a great show! amazing guitarist, you have to give him that. but yeah, there were plenty of drunken idiots surrounding me. and @ his second show during this tour, more then HALF the capacity of the arena was arrested. wasnt like that in '04's tour!
