      At least he is taking responsiblity for his daughter…we will see what the mother says and more importantly what she DOES to help her daughter. I do think both her parents treat her like a child and she is not a child. Some tough love is in order here. Too many people baby her.

      He seemed quite sincere on the show. I think all Brit and Lyndsey should leave LA. Paris, well that is how she made her career, so she can stay and continue her reality show. Brit and Linds were actually famous for something - some kind of talent at some point. I'm pulling for those two!

      People please…he is just a father, a human being, who has made mistakes. He admits his mistakes. He wants to help his daughter-as any parent would. I am guessing all you haters are not parents yourself. Give the man a break! I hope Lindsay gets away from her mother and sits down with her father and just listens.

      I find it interesting that out of the blue he starts quoting lindsays song - then says that whoever made the video twisted the message to be the opposite of what Lindsay intended, that she loves her father and is reaching out to him, as opposed to the video which shows a father figure being abusive to his wife and children. Obviously he doesn't follow Lindsay's career too much - SHE DIRECTED THE VIDEO in her directing debut!

      This guy is a creep - then has the gall to say that what Lindsay needs is NOT rehab but to talk to her father, which she obviously is NOT doing. Rehab is a process for someone with a serious addiction. You can't change someone's self concept and needs in 30 days but you can start the process to recovery…

      It is funny that someone who has not had anything to really do with his daughter in the past few years thinks that he knows what she could possibly need. Toxic parents is all i can say. They are what Lindsay needs to be free from (but I don't know her personally so I can't really say).

      Her parents screwed her up so bad! The mom tries to vicariously live her life through her daughter, the old (cha-ching) hag. Her dad says that he has always been involved…puleeezzze! How involved was he when he had his alcohol problem? Substance abuse…the apple doesn't fall far from the tree in this case. Sad.

      There is no doubt that her father is, in part, to blame for LL's troubles. WIth that said, I don't understand how she is coming so close to throwing her life away. She is the it girl & has all the money in the world. People want to be around LL, she doesn't need them. Why isn't she having other people drive her ass around and why are the people close to her letting her drive while drunk. The girl has lots of people on her payroll (including mommy) so why isn't anyone protecting her. Dealing with her addiction is one thing but the legal issues are scary. She is going to go to jail over her latest stunt. Perhaps that is what she need to stay clean. What was it that they said about Gloria Vanderbelt - the poor little rich girl.

      I think Michael made some mistakes throughout his life, but he has not only fixed them, but moved on and is able to help others. Lindsay needs to take in whatever advice he gives her not only b/c they are family, but b/c he want through addiction himself. (not so much in the public eye though!)

      I am not a fan of any part of the Lohan family but Micheal is acting sort of like a parent.Dina should to,this is thier daughters life,stop babysitting her and start giving her osme tough love.She is gonna grow up to be a washed out druggy if someone dosent do it now.Michael also takes responsibility for Lindsay's drinking,
      but these are Lindsay's mistakes and she should be the one taking responsibility for them.Which means taking her punishment and not blaming others for what she did.Paris did her time for the mistakes she made,and did well.I also believe she has learned from the time she spent in jail.I'm sure this eye-opening expierince would
      wake Lindsay up,and make her realize she has to take control of her life.It might also make her think about the impact she is making on the children of the world,she is supposed to be a role model,not a convict.
