ok, i've been sitting on this comment for 3 months now, but i have to say it…

Promises is not real rehab!
my sister entered the Betty Ford Clinic the same time her hard partying boyfriend entered Promises, and WOW - the difference in treatment was amazing. Betty Ford was a no-nonsense rehabilitation center, while Promises was like Club Med minus the alcohol. you could never even ATTEMPT to check in and out of the Betty Ford like it was study hall! and FYI - they BOTH come equipped with amazing gyms and exercise facilities - you should never have to leave just to go to the gym!

the biggest difference though is the belief system - at Betty Ford (and also Hazeldon and other quality programs) the belief is that you have a disease, and that you must do everything in your power to not only avoid relapse, but also avoid even the temptation.

HOWEVER, at places like Promises and Meadows, they don't even tell you to quit drinking! They subscribe to a "control and responsibility" belief system. For example: if getting wasted, doing cocaine, driving your car, and subsequently getting arrested is a "10", they basically tell you to keep it under a "5" — so basically it's ok to drink as long as you keep it under control, and cut out the drugs, and never drive… WTF???

Criss Angel Is Recorded Threatening To Knock Out His Producer!

The Luxor headlining illusionist was recorded having quite the verbal altercation with Joe Monti, one of his magic producers on Wednesday, during which Angel is heard threatening to knock him out - and now he's had a police report filed against him!

Furthermore, Monti later said to authorities that he recorded the meeting because Angel has a history of bullying employees!

He explains:
