Dear Perez Hilton,

First of all, please let me congratulate you with all the success you have lately. It is a very nice accomplishment to be so successful in a market that is so full of competitors.
Now that that has been said I would like to give my honest opinion about that market.

I think it is really sick and terrible that there is a market for pics and stories of sick and addicted people. Of course they are famous, lots of people know them and they live a life in the spotlights, but above all they are sick and need help. Magazines and sites like yours have created the mess with all the paparazzi and attention seeking people.

The fact that I noticed you turned your thoughts twice the last 24 hours (first about Lindsay Lohans dad, and second with Lindsay herself.) after you spoke or written with the people you are posting bout., means that the gossip world is only guessing what is going on in their lives.
Imagine Lindsay’s dad has all good in mind, how frustration must it be that the gossip world is making a bad man of him. Telling stories they made up, or are not completely true. How should you feel if things like that happen when your own daughter is addicted to cocaine and booze and can not get control over her own life again.
You want to help, but there are some bitches who are influencing your and her life with crap they tell to attract visitors or sell copies. I tell you, if I was a dad like that, first I would bump myself to the head for being a bad dad, but secondly I would really try to find guys like you, and smack them up. (not personally Perez….)

I have been addicted myself for a couple of years, made it out and had the chance to go on with my life. In my situation it was hard, but there were no camera’s and all that other shit. It was just me fighting an addiction I created myself. But nevertheless I created it myself, I needed all the support and love from my family and even unknown people to get out of the dark place.
What the gossip world is doing, they put them back, creating a lot of stress and almost convict them to make the same mistake again and again.

Look at Britney, of course she did stupid things (blame her with a bunch of paps following her everywhere, people sucking her ass, and losing the reality) and of course you should take care of your children better then she looks to do. But I think you are not looking right if you can not see that she is really sick. Not gossip sick, but real sick. If your mother/sister would be sick like that, you would help her out, and have a lot of concerns about her, maybe even cry and pray for her.

I am not blaming you or another website. As long as there is money to be made, I understand people start the sites/mags etc.
I am blaming the people who visit your site. Although they are also being influenced by the money, drugs and fast cars, but they are stupid enough to think life is all about that.
They do not understand that they are creating the market for guys like you. And they are also not understanding that the world shown behind the camera glasses is not the real world. It is not the world people like you and me live in, but only a world were maybe a 2000 people are living in, creating a wrong view on what is important. Have a car collection of 25 pieces, partying all night in exclusive clubs, using drugs and making kids with all kind of people, not understanding you have to take care of what you create.

Not to blame only the pap press, it would be better to just inform about good things in life instead of only the bad things. This would stimulate people to do the same, just as you can see with all the terrible things that has been “copied” today by people who think the real world is as on television.
The facts is that the pap press is destroying a very young group, a group in which you and me have to grow up with, growing old with. They get the idea the life is about those foolish things celebs are doing.

I understand I can not persuade you to find another job, in fact I think you are crazy (a fucking good human being, but crazy) if you would, after becoming such a known name in this industry.
I also understand this mail won’t change a thing about the way people in their golden cages life, living a abnormal life.
But what I hope is that I can let people, who are extremely interested in what happens in the celeb life, understand that they have to make I ton their own.
Enjoying what they have, and can have in the future, not competing or copying the celeb life, and not enjoying bad things like addiction and mental sickness.

Again, I wish you all the best with the upcoming TV show, and everything you will do in the future. Enjoy it, prepare for the paps, and do not loose out of sight that it are the small things in life that matters.

Who isn't stressed out? I'm stressed every day of my life. Do I do coke? No. Do I drive drunk? No. Also… maybe cops were stalking her… but driving drunk is driving drunk.
