    What's so "low rent" about it? Avon has been around for over 120 years and mark. is the #2 seller for ages 15-35 in the US. I can't sell enough of the stuff. Avon my friend is a household name, and although I love you to death, I'm not sure where the hate-on for Avon is coming from

    Perez, I can understand you picking on the nut cases like Lindsey, Brittany, Paris or Nicole; these ladies are getting their obvious due…but Jennifer Hudson and Avon?? Come on, was it just slow day when you posted this?

    Jennifer Hudson is a very talented young woman who was asked by a very reputable company to endorse a new product. To those of you stating that Imari is old and your grandma wore it, you've got your facts wrong. This is a second, very different version of the original Imari, which coincidently has been the #1 selling women's fragrance from Avon. The original Imari is an oriental musk, this one is lighter and more floral - a completely new fragrance, which happens to smell very nice. It is just now being introduced for sale to customers.

    So Perez, I just don't see where problem is with this, except maybe in the eyes of the beholder.

    Ok first off. this smells a lot better than the original imari. i know because i'm an avon rep. and second before all you asses start bashing avon you should do your research. avon provides me with a very good income. i'm a single mother that has a new home that i had built and drive a brand new car. and that is all because of avon. oh and buy the way it retails for $22 for a very small bottle.

    Singer YES, Actress OK but SONGWRITER????….WOW, I want them to write my next resume!!!

    I think she is a very talented singer but not a stellar actress….I was not impressed with her acting ability at all but her singing blew it out of the water!

    So I can understand why she recieved so many accolades from the movie which she most certainly deserves unlike these Jessica Simpsons, and Britney Spears who are mega stars and have not a drop of talent or vocal ability whatsoever.

    Perez honey, let's be real….You know you would take any offer that came your way so don't hate and talk about low rent because if Avon would offer you a gig you would JUMP just like you have at every other opportunity!

    At least she is smart about it and is pushing a product the average American and her fanbase can afford plus Avon is really popular amoung that same demographic.

    Isn't that a wiser move moreso than putting your name and face behind a product that only a small percintile can afford. Just look at Gwen Stefani's L.A.M.B collection.

    It did so poorly because she overpriced regular looking clothes just because it bore her label but it wasn't affordable to the majority of her fanbase.

    Now don't get me wrong, I will shell out for designer things I like and I also do happen to like Gwen Stefani a lot but in my opinion the quality of her line was not worth the extra coin.

    Although I don't personally use Avon, J Hud's strategy makes perfect sense to me and it makes dollars for her! Smart business move!

    Even though she is airbrushed to T she does look very nice in her photo and isn't fat or obese at all!!!

    Too many people on here making comments about her weight are brainwashed by the media and society's unrealistic "standards” on beauty and weight and it is truly sickening!!

    Make your own descions instead of buying into the hype. It's so appaling!!
