The Shrek star proposed to Edmonds with a “massive” Cartier yellow diamond engagement ring (roughly 8 carats!) on Wednesday, reports
“They’re very adorable together, very happy,” a friend of the couple tells OK!
The next day Tracey celebrated with friends during lunch on the patio of the W Hotel in Westwood. “She looked very happy,” an eyewitness tells OK!. “She was proudly showing off the ring.”
The couple have been dating since last October, when Murphy abruptly dumped then-pregnant girlfriend Mel B.
They plan to tie the knot before the end of the year, though no date has been set yet. “It will be a private wedding,” says the friend. “Something low key and very romantic.”

She did graduate from Stanford and sell real estate but she got her real start by auditioning for a Babyface video back in the day and hooking him. They were married for several years. Babyface was an extremely successful producer and was loaded. He has complained about the settlement she received, so it must be huge.
