The movie debuted at #9 and took in a paltry $3.4 million.

Dead? It was a very small, privately funded movie with no wide distribution. The film was hardly a failure- it performed more as less as was to be expected, particularly against comparative juggernauts- like The Simpsons Movie.

I saw the movie Friday night and enjoyed it. It's not a great film, but I think everyone is over exaggerating the "hane-ass-ity" of this flick because it seems like the appropriate thing to do. People love to strike you harder when you are down. We are a mean Species.

Lindsay Lohan shows that, even with a mediocre script, she has an amazing range of talent. The movie sometimes confused but COMPELLING. I think "I Know Who Killed Me" could even rise to the level of being a cult film masterpiece — something people will watch 10, 20 or 50 years from now.
The only film on the top ten it beat was 'Who's your caddy?" Oh man! That's bad!
As a fellow actor, I just have to say that at times it's not the actor's fault when a film doesn't open as well but regardless of Linday's personal problems, a truly honest person in the industry knows that this girl is very talented and very natural on screen. She's captivating and when her stuff gets together she will be fine. So, don't hate on her u guys!!

Lindsay Lohan's new movie "I know who killed me" can be summed up with one word: Horrible!. The young actress has been going through alot these past few months and to add this movie, alongside "Georgia Rule", to her resume is both embarrassing and heartbreaking. The film unintentionally came across as a sick dark comedy. I found myself laughing at scenes that were supposed to be moving and thrilling. For example, Lindsay's charcter gets half of her arm and leg cut off and is left with two nubs. Instead of feeling sorry for her, the dialouge from her and the characters surrounding her creates laughter and comedy. Another scene that should go down in scene history is the sex scence. It was equipped with corny porn sex music and hilarious reactions from lindsay's onscreen mother. Unfortunatly the best scenes are when Lindsay is her "alter ego or maybe twin" Dakota Moss, who happens to be a stripper. Lindsay's pole dancing was better than the crappy dialouge and the stupid plot. Lohan is a talented young actress, but with all of the current charges she is facing, she will have to come back with a bang with her next film role. There is hope for her,anybody remember Robert Downey, Jr.? She will have to take her time and choose roles that will put her career back on top. She is again a great actress and I think she should become an indie actress for a while and slowly make her way back to major films. YOu have to just forget about her last several films and go watch Mean girls, Parent trap, and Freaky Friday to see her capablity to do amazing work. And if you do choose to watch "I know who killed me" , go to it thinking your going to watch the sick comedic version of saw. Had i known that i wouldnt be begging for my $8 back as we speak!

I saw it last night, and I actually thought it was alright. It could've ended better, but it was still suspenseful, and she did a good job; minus the 10 minute sex scene!

In all fairness, for I haven't seen the movie, nor will I…would the movie still have tanked if say the actress had been someone else? I mean, if the movie itself was horrible, is that Lindsey's fault or the fault of the writers and originators? I understand that maybe she has lost quite a bit of her audience due to her "issues," but whomever stated earlier that when a movie has limited release, isn't that because they KNOW it may not do well in the first place? There is no doubt in my mind that she has the capability of being a truly great actress. There is also no doubt in my mind that she determines her own fate. That thus being said…I highly DOUBT she'll be getting any of the good scripts, scripts that were probably meant for her, any time soon. It IS tragic. On the cusp of a brilliant career, to simply throw it all away. I wish I could truly sit here and feel bad for her, but I don't.
