This is a novel concept!

When Nicole Richie goes to jail later this summer - she's supposed to start serving her four day sentence before the end of September - she'll have to pay for her time behind bars out of her own pocket.

Good!

Richie also has to enroll in a drug and alcohol program - and she has to pay a fine of over $2,000.

If Nicole violates the terms of her probation, she could a year in jail.

Girlfriend (and mom-to-be) better be on her best behavior!

She only got 4 days on her 2nd DUI charge and Paris got 45 days on her charges…funny… Nicole is more royalty to entertainment than Paris… her father is a musical Legend and Paris I mean her trust fund is cute but her name is merely a hotel which is great don't get me wrong…just now we know why she is always on her back I mean her family obviously loved to lay coming up with a hotel chain!!!!

      4 days? She should have gotten at least 4 months. I read that the only two jails in LA that accept pregnant inmates are Lynwood and Twin Towers because they are the only two jails with hospitals in them.

      But the judge said that Nicole could serve in any jail, including a safer pay jail. So do you think she will abort that baby and then say that she was never pregnant to begin with? I wouldn't put it past her.

      Oh yes, and everyone's whining about how Paris "only" had a suspended license. SHE HAD A DUI TOO. That's why they sent her to jail, it was a violation of her probation to be driving on a suspended license that resulted from a DUI charge. People are stupid. Rooting for Paris, like she's this human being or something.
      But it's totally okay for Nicole to go to jail for a year if she violates her probation, right?
