Not everyone is critizing Lindsay Lohan. Some people are offering her encouraging words, like Jill Stuart, who has hired the actress to star in the fashion house's advertising campaign.
Says Stuart:
"We continue to be supportive of Lindsay and her family's efforts to get back on track and a healthful road to sobriety and rehabilitation, as anyone who has had a friend or where all of these high profile stories are emanating from, that also does not address the source, namely the restaurants & bars that comp these young people and the loved one struggle with the disease of alcoholism and addiction knows all too well. I would also question the virtuosity of an investigation or prosecution, especially in LA paparazzi that harass them relentlessly.”

She has a point…Places like Hollywood Hotspot Les Deux turn a blind eye to drugs. They allow drugs to be brought in, sold and they allow patrons to openly use them. I bet you could walk into Les Deux on any night of the week and find whatever drugs your looking for. Why wouldn't the Police send one or two undercover cops in and bust these places? There is no secret about what goes on inside.

That statement DID sound like something she would say. READ IT and GO BACK and read other articles about her and the quotes. She had a gread opp to accentuate a plus in Lindsay's career and talk about it and distract from her problems and focus on what she has been doing–she could have made it look like biz as usual and that Lindsay's star was still rising, but she FUCKED IT UP! She redirected everyone's attention to the quagmire they are in.
I love Lindsay! I think she is a rising star, but Dina is not managing her right and is too close to her.(perceived in the press and as a enabler/mom/doesn't make Lindsay responsible for her actions and so Lindsay will never do so and have no desire to get better b/c she is never wrong.) I am sober….I feel bad for Lindsay. She has so much potential. I wish she would move forward and not get involved in her parent's probs. Probably Dina again. She should forgive her dad and move forward and do positive things. Dina can't help her with that.

PS: Why is Lindsay mad at her dad? I thought she had forgiven him when he got out of jail??? I don't know the whole story, but family ain't perfect. Trying to spin these stories into uplifting and encouraging statements of empathy negates the fact that Lindsay Lohan has now been caught TWICE for DUI's. How many other times was she drunk driving? She imposed an enormous risk on countless, innocent lives for her thoughtless, careless, indulgent lifestyle. She and her entire family should be ashamed and relentlessly apologizing to the public for her homocidal behavior. Lindsay and her mother should be producing PSA's on drunk driving, and doing philanthropic work for those causes. I'm not crying for her, and Dina's wimpery ignorance is pathetic and insulting.
