thats great, but she's not rowing. that's a different sport. those girls in the boat aren't rowing, they're PADDLING. though similar, it isnt the same.

Perez, thats a canoe team, I'd guess dragonboating from the size of the boat. Rowing is totally different. She's the tiller, or steersman. Usually the lightest person does that. She must me tiny, but she looks so tall!

Note to Perez: Rowing is a very elite sport. Nothing common about it.

that form of rowing is more of a dragon boat. the rowing you see in the olympics is sweeping and sculling… very differerent.

It is a part of the crew and I doubt anyone's pissed that she's there-without someone to do that job the crew would not be able to perform well. Perez, PLEASE refrain from saying that anyone in that picture is rowing because they simply are not. And to anyone leaving comments implying that they know more than Dear Perez by calling her a coxswain or saying that paddling and rowing (be it sweep-rowing or sculling) are almost one in the same: I'd suggest stopping now before you look like anymore of an ass. That’s a canoe team; those women sit stationary, hanging over their designated side and paddle. Rowing is one of the very most elite and traditional competitive sports ever. Racing shells and canoes are totally different. A coxswain is a position that comes with a great deal of pride and respect; specific to the sport of rowing… she’s the tiller, or steersman. I do not mean to dismiss the athletic ability needed to paddle a successful canoe, BUT I assure you one of the few and only things that one of the oldest Olympic sports, rowing and canoe racing share… is that both involve a boat of some form and require a body of water to execute any legit race…

She looks really good to me. I think that she would make an okay Queen. It's not like it's anything but a ceremonial position anyway.
