The Breathe Me singer just posted the following message on her official blog:

hello sweet sweet potatoes.
so i got pretty famous last week for about five
minutes when the video for buttons was leaked and
perezhilton.com put it on his site for all to see.
i pretty much owe him some part of my first born i
guess,apparently he is somewhere in the top ten most
powerful people in the media.
fucking amazing.
what wasn't quite as fucking amazing was reading about
being an ugly bitch with a snaggletooth that could cut
someones penis in two.
ok nobody really said that,but they should
have,because it's way funnier than JUST dissing my
snaggletooth,which for the record,has never cut
anyones penis in two.
i guess what happened is kris moyes,the director,asked
if he could put it on his showreel,and we said
yes,having no idea it would make it's way to perez
within 3 hours of being uploaded.pretty exciting
stuff,i heard it's had 250,000 hit's on youtube now
which makes me all a tingle in my tinglers.
kris got the idea for contorting a face using sticky
tape from an artist whose name i can't remember on the
internet,and was writing a treatment for a vid for the gossip,
whilst staying at my house in LA(he is a friend
from horsetralia) i stuck my face up for fun and
thought it would be an awesome vid,and when the gossip
heard it they loved it but due to some sort of
travel/scheduling issue they couldn't do it,so i said
ok well let's do it together,for one of my songs,just
for fun.
so we did.
and it WAS fun.
apart from the whole clothes pegs on my face moment.
that was fucking excruciating.
i actually had to have a break and regulate my
breathing while the natural opiates took over.
anyway,i sure am famous now,so it was pretty much
worth it.

Sia is amazing, Breathe Me (from 6Ft under and the remix) are insane, she is an artist who is famous within smaller groups, and is just on the cusp. Yay perez!
Sia is awesome! I can't even tell you how many times I have listened to buttons here on Perez. My kids even know the words now! It's catchy, and stays in your head all day!( Sucks when it's time for bed though:) She was unknown to me before this, and I love her style and I think she is beautiful. Sia, don't listen to those who try and tear you down hon, they're just jealous! And what a nice breathe of fresh air to have someone humble and appreciative express themselves……Keep on making that great music!!!

Hello, The Greek Giant here cruising in my shiny blue Maserati and running over impoverished American office workers in downtown LA. Sia just swallowed a Giant sperm explosion and sniped at my testicles with her rabbit teeth as I, The Greek Giant, unloaded the remains all over her face. I must now find her a Gucci scarf to wipe her face with. That is all.
Sia is a fantastic artist… her first big song "Breathe Me" became big when HBO's 6 Feet Under used it at the end of their series finale, which happened to be a huge moment for the series, and for Sia. Then, this "Buttons" song came out, and the video to boot. The song is AMAZING and really not like any song she has done before (it has more of a pop beat), and the video (although a little fetish-esque) is a really quite interesting.
If you are pathetic enough to care about a tooth that is naturally out of place (so your telling me that you have the right to judge because your teeth have been perfect since birth?), then you are definitely not mature enough to watch this video.
No wonder the rest of the world thinks that Americans are the most superficial people in the entire world. What ever happened to "Judge not lest you be judged"? Grow up!
