   being from wisconsin and knowing lots of people from MN who drive on that bridge every day, it was terrifying to hear about something like this happening…anyone who has anything negative to say or is one-uping tragedies…go crawl into a hole, imagine how you would feel if you were in bumper-to-bumper traffic, trapped on that bridge in the 10 horrific seconds before you were plumenting to your death and then talk about iraq and katrina and whatnot–obviously katrina was a nightmare that was handled horribly and yes, we are fighting a war built on lies and innocent people are dying as result. But saying that implying that other innocent people here in the US DESERVE to die because we are "spending our money on wars v. fixing our bridges" FUCK OFF. Oh and this video is everywhere, all over the news, everyone has seen it…a security camera caught it all…so I don't consider in poor taste and I know people were were minutes from going down with it, I just appreciate perez bringing this tragedy to everyone's attention…thanks for caring and being cool PEREZZZ–PS I hear you're going to be on Z104 in madison!! Can't wait!:)

   Don't blame George Bush for this. A while ago the LIBERALS in MN voted to spend half of the traffic taxes on welfare and only half on repairing roads. HARD WORKING PEOPLE DIED so lazy people could sit at home and get everything for free. Like most liberals, you blame Bush for your own parties idiocy.

   oh and #138…it collapsed DURING rush hour…the only reason there wasn't *as* much traffic/devestation as there might have been was because it was under construction, many who would normally take this route had gone another way.

   #160…I'll keep you and your family in my thoughts as well as all the others who are still missing loved ones or have already lost loved ones in this tragedy.

   My friends and I drove over it 2 hours prior.

   It was scary. We didn't know what happened since we were out and we got tons of messages asking if we were okay.

   It's ridiculous to say that god is punishing the guilty. This was random. There were probably CHILDREN in some of those cars. Innocent people. People die every day, whether or not they are good people. :/

   i live in mpls and i still cant believe it…this bridge is an essential bridge in the minneapolis/st paul area…i cant imagine not having it around and feel awful that people died/got injured…

   Yeah…in my family we call it the 'Hello Minneapolis' bridge, I cannot count the number of times I've been over it…took it to and from school every day for a year >.

    Children, unfortunately, yes. A two year old girl and her pregnant mom are among the missing, and there must be more. It's awful.
    I was so glad the 60 kids and chaperones on the school bus were okay!! It was really a miraculous thing.

    Sorry, that bridge didn't just collapse spontaneously over a long stretch like that. I have a friend who's a civil engineer who said. Yeah, there was terrorism; but it was the US government…again! Demolition Experts, Inc. More chaos and nervousness to be manufactured. That little bridge demolition is just the beginning…well, after Oklahoma City Federal Building demolition, the FIRST WTC demolition and the 911 demolition. More to come. If we think it sounds unpleasant in Iraq what we're doing to Iraqi's, you may not like what the rich/military/covert leadership are going to be doing to most of us in the US over the coming years of ramping up runaway global warming…

    The crazy thing is I was at the Twins game tailgaiting about 3 blocks away and I didn't even hear anything?!?! All of a sudden there were cop cars and ambulances everywhere, my friends and I ran down to the site to see of there was anything to do but I got there and froze… I couldn't believe what was in front of me.

    It's wasn't terroism you fucks…that bridge had been looked at a couple years ago and was found to have structural concerns and was UNDER CONSTRUCTION AT THE TIME. Why would terroists hit a bridge in MN that was already having work done so even fewer people would be on it than usual?

    Oh and to all of you who think it "so offensive" this is on youtube…everything is fucking on youtube and this is a major news story and has already been shown many times on every news station…it's not some morbid little show, it's not like they're showing individual people dying from this…it's a informative shot of how this happened and it's everywhere so get the fuck over it…like all of you are on some moral high ground to say "I won't watch that"–it's a major event folks. Move on.

    I could never immagine how it was to be involved or waiting for news from lost people. I just hope the news will not be as bad in the end. I feel for the people and wish i could make the pain go away.

    The bridge i alway cross over on to get back home after visting the cities..anyhow..my friend missed the calapse by 5 minutes after she crossed the full length of the bridge..:) Then another friend of mine her aunt was one of the 5 that passed away. its sad and the woman was a great person

    i was on that bridge just hours before it collapsed. its really scary thinking about how it could have happened while i was driving on it. its very lucky that minimal deaths occurred, considering the high number of cars that fell through
