   I don't think that was crazy at all! She sounded like a very articulate, smart, well informed young lady! Maybe that is why you think she is crazy because people who look like her are not supposed to sound like her. And as for the Make up…I get the feeling she just got off the stage. Everybody should know that the things you wear on stage are not the things you wear in your real life…it is more exaggerated!

   I do not see Lauryn as crazy here… I mean the garb that she dons is whack and the hair and makeup are pretty out there. But as a music lover I have mad respect for what she is saying. Too many artist sell out for the dollar. Bubblegum pop crap music is all over the place and it's refreshing to see that there is hope for TRUE musicians that need to really relate to and feel their music in order to be hyped about what they put out as well as be confident their on-stage performance. I love celeb gossip just as much as the next person, but this (in my opinion) was a dis that was pretty uncalled for.

   Lauryn Hill never said anything about white people buying her music and she is not racist. lauryn was raised in a jewish neighborhood and said she was hurt by that rumor. SOME ASS CALLED THE (RACIST) HOWARD STERN SHOW AND SAID THAT SHE MADE THAT STATEMENT ON MTV… MTV confirmed there was no such interview or tape. Lauryn has hired white band members and has performed all over Europe. Zach Braff from SCRUBS reported she was one of his closest friends when they were growing up in Jersey. Don't believe every story you read.

    Many of you are asking what happened to Lauryn. She tells in the interview what happened to her. She's not crazy and just because she's wearing heavy makeup doesn't make her a nut. I'm glad she's making all of you mad!!

    I do believe you all are western people that seem to be tricked by what your eyes see. Maybe you should listen to what your ears hear. Lauryn Hill says very true things, who cares how she chooses to look. She is a very beautyfull woman with a very true vision on today's society.
    Hope she will continue to express herself in music and lyrics….

    First of all how can you even compare her to Whiteny Houston? When have you ever seen evidence of Lauryn using drugs. So she has weird make-up on? So what? Does that take away from the great lyrics she writes and sings? This is one of very FEW woman out there signing about positive things- and staying true to yourself-.
    Lets not forget that entertainers wear funky make-up and outfits during performances.
