Giving a hippo a MASSAGE? Oh my word! Now I've heard everythig. Next thing you'll tell me, Perez Hilton will record an album. But before people think that all hippos are cute and cuddly, I saw a hippo documentary on cable about a year ago. This mamma hippo and her baby boy hippo wandered into the territory of a bull (male) hippo. The bull hippo didn't mind the mama hippo, but he was ENRAGED by the presence of another male hippo, even if it was a mere child hippo. The male hippo then proceeded to grab the boy hippo in its jaws and thrashed it from side to side. If that wasn't bad enough, the bull hippo then submerged until it left the lifeless body of the baby boy hippo floating in the water. That was a real eyeopener for me. ICK. from rc in austin, texas

Thanks P, loved a little change of pace. That hippo is very cute, and they are lucky to have that relationship. Normally I despise people who get in the way of nature by trying to domestic big cats or other wild animlas, but in this case, Jessica is free to go where she wants and chooses to stay. Also, they rescued her from a certain death when she was a baby.

Perez, how about a blurb once in awile on why spaying and neutering your dogs and cats is sooooo important? You could make a real difference P! Every unspayed animal is capable of reproducing THOUSANDS of offsring and grand offsring. Many of which will be gassed or euthanizd (yes, they still use the gas box in many states). You could really help educate people and it would take only 2 minutes of your time every once in awhile.

That was SOOO cute. Truly amazing how she is like their young child. Awww, my favorite part was at the end when she curled up in her little bed with the pink blankets and the Dog snuggled up to her to go to sleep!! So cute.
