Madonna has been making the magic happen for 25 years now, and MTV is set to mark the milestone with a very special celebration.

The network is said to be working on a two hour special for the 07-08 season in honor of the Queen of Pop.

Though details are still being worked out, it's believed that her Madgesty will perform, as will some other artists covering her tunes.

Holiday!

Yes Yes Yes yesyes! Finally some respect. Madonna has great music & great videos, probably some of the best ever made. If you asked a young kid in the business, "Whos career would you like to be like?" they would say Madonna. Why because what she does is hard to do, has never been done befor, & is hard & skillful work. Especailly to have longevity. I mean I really think her music since the 90's on has been absolutely terrific. Their are so many good songs on these albums, as her fans know. I really think she is no longer overshadowed by her hits in the 80's. Because she had huge American Classic hits in the 80's, but I think she also defineing the sound of the 90's & 00's. Bedtime Stories, Frozen, Ray of Light, Music, Die Another Day, Hollywood, Hung Up, Get Together, Sorry… Just because shes able to combine artistry with business & shes not identified by a man she gets a hard time. But history will prove her to be one of the great feminists.
