I went to see El Cantante last night and I LOVED it. Is the best acting Jennifer Lopez has ever done. The movie is sad because it deals with the life of an amazing salsa singer whose carear and life were tarnished by drugs.

When I was watching the movie, I thought to myself that's how the salsa club scene was back in the 70 & 80's, everybody drinking, smoking pot, doing cocaine and, eventually, heroine. And then I remembered THIS is what they STILL do now in the clubs, Lindsay, Brit, Peter D., Nicole, Paris, etc., etc. If you go party all the time, the movie is your life but with different clothes.
