Amy Winehouse showed up! The Rehab singer made her scheduled appearance at the Virgin Festival in Baltimore on Saturday.

It seems more likely than not that she will make it to Chicago for her Sunday show at Lollapalooza.

Yay!

"She arrived about 5 minutes late and the crowed got restless, but everything was smooth sailing when she stepped up to the mic. The best part was she seemed sober! No slurring, drinking (except a soda can which probably had a little something inside) or obnoxious behavior! She was able to pull her mic out of the wiring and reassemble it in seconds. It was a great performance and her husband was on stage the entire time filming her. It was adorable the way they'd look at each other when she would dedicate a song to him."

Luckily she can sing because if not, I think she would be another bar fly with bad make-up and hair. She's definately not easy on the eyes. It's kind of like seeing a fat lady wear a bikini or an old man wearing a g-string. It's not fun to look at, but when you see it you're like, 'oh gosh, what were they thinking?' I was there. She actually wasn't that unattractive as i expected. there was something vulnerable and melancholic about her that transfixed people. i was really nervous she might not make it. you can even feel it among the crowd. she dedicated "wake up alone" to 'her husband".
