      Does no one have any originality? Why so many covers of this damn song. People are just trying to hop on to the success that this song has, no matter if the song is good or bad. it's successful and they cover it because they think they will become successful too. It's sickening. Be original, write your own songs, and if you're going to cover a song(which is inevitably going to happen) , at least make it a good one that has some meaning.

      Scott Simons' version is far better. Take the original, slow it down, add some synth beats in the background, and gorgeous male vocals layered over it and you have Scott's version. He takes the song from a typical radio friendly pop hit into something where the words feel significantly more sincere. Everyone do yourself a favor and give it a listen. Nothing against John West, but his version isn't up to par.
