      Dear Perez:

I find this post to be absolutely unnecessary! This has nothing to do with celebrities. You are making fun of everyday people. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? We live in America. People can dress however they want. Don't show a pic of everyday people in this outfit. Your job is to show celebrities in this outfit.

So, what happened to tolerance? Does it only apply to people who have drug addictions, "alternate lifestyles" and those who have slanted views to the left? YOU ARE A HYPOCRITE! I will never view this website again.

i was stuck in a fundamentalist christian household and was forced to wear something similar as a girl. In college I was forced to choose between my family and their beliefs or having my own life and choices. I chose my own life and after my escape from home and a period of being stalked, my family has not spoken to me since. While these suits are horrible and I must admit I have laughed at them myself now that I have been out of the fundamentalist abusive environment for a while I have to say that in looking at all of your comments about the skinny little jesus-loving bitches who are so self conscious they hind behind these baggy suits or how their hair or prudish-ness….stop and consider that some of these girls have no choice but to wear it. Some of them are *humiliated* and abused and cannot leave. Some of them have no way out and don't know any other life but that which has been presented to them. Not all of the girls on the beach or at the lake in those suits are happy to be wearing them. Some of us were dying inside and terrified to go out in public wearing that shit but our parents made us. We knew the rest of you were laughing and making jokes about us. For the first 19 years of my life I grew up knowing the public was staring at me. I may wear normal clothes now and look radically different (old acquaintances have not recognized me since I have changed) but I still can't shake the feeling that the public is staring and laughing at me because that is what I grew up with. It is devastating to a young girl's self-esteem and affects us even after we leave that environment. We're not stupid and while some of them may choose to wear that….some of us didn't. Don't add to the humiliation when most of these girls are not old enough to (or have the resources) escape it. Their parents make these choices. These suits and clothes are fucking awful and from our outside point of view it certainly can be funny…but from another point of view I don't think any of us should forget:

      It hurts to be abused.
