The nominees for the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards were announced earlier today.

And, now, the first wave of performers for the big show, airing live from the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas on September 9th, have also been revealed.

The acts include: Timbaland, Foo Fighters, Kanye West, Fall Out Boy, Amy Winehouse, Rihanna, Lily Allen and Chris Brown.

      These awards and MTV itself are for children. No one who has any serious appreciation for real music would be caught dead watching this debacle of untalented addicts and idiots.
