"Jolie is a control freak and she is pissed because she didn't have control over the photos," a source tells us. "Brad and Angelina were going to send out a set of photos and get coverage they wanted and control they wanted. Then, when the Life & Style cover (with the Maddox bday pics) hit newsstands, it sort of took the wind out of that possibility."
Brange could still sell "official" posed shots, but the money would now be significantly less.

ffs I am not an advocate of Miss Jolie's but do you pseudo-journalists REALLY think this is about money and being a control freak? Or could she just be trying to keep private what should be private. I think she is doing enough conceding to the invasive mentality of today's media by releasing ANY pics of her family's private affairs. I think she and her partner have every right to choose what the public to sees. It's their family! Just a heads up, every time they do sell photos and yes they do sell them often. They make a million or two, but what most people don't realize is she and Brad have never kept on cent of the money for themselves. Jolie is not the answer for Africa. Thousand of individuals have been working on issues and policies for years. Does anyone truly believe that Angelina brings something new to the plate? Bill and Melinda Gates and Oprah pump millions into Africa. Bono and Sir Bob work their agenda hard. All of these people, for right or wrong, are giving their soul to Africa and they ask for nothing in return. No press. No coverage. All of these individuals work together. Jolie is the only celebrity that wishes to remain separate from the group. It appears as if she wants to be seen as the only celebrity working in Africa just as she wants to be seen as the only one adopting. It would be nice to see her speak out about the issues surrounding International Adoption. I have no reason to believe that she truly wants anyone else to adopt internationally or work in Africa. If she did, then she would form some sort of celebrity team as others have done. She would look to Sir Bob, Bono, Oprah and so on for examples. She would offer her support to them. They continually invite others to get involved. She does not. She does not approach the groups that have been studying and focusing on the problems of International Adoption or Poverty in Africa to diversify her view. She has never reached out to adoptive parents encountering the many roadblocks and difficulties surrounding international adoption. She has never spoken openly about the challenges of a blended family. She has never discussed the issue of child/parent attachment. These are all very real problems and yet she continues avoid all issues that would open her up to others doing the same thing. She does not identify with them. She does not want to share the world. She wants to own adoption as well as the poverty in Africa. It’s all very strange.
It is THEIR party and HER children so if she wants to control what images are released of HER family and HER children then that is how it should be. Everyone would be singing a different tune if it was their family.

Nine Guatemalans were indicted for their roles in an alleged sex trafficking ring that lured young women to the United States with promises of good jobs and then forced them into prostitution, according to federal court records.

Four of the defendants pleaded not guilty in January to sex trafficking charges in the case. A superseding indictment, unsealed Thursday, includes more serious allegations that five of the 12 victims were minors.
According to the new 50-count indictment, the defendants at times sold Guatemalan women and girls to one another like slaves and allegedly brought the victims to witch doctors who threatened to put curses on them and their families if they ran away.
"These young women were enticed into coming to this country by promises of the American dream only to arrive and discover that what awaited was a nightmare," said Robert Schoch, a special agent in charge for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
A federal grand jury in Los Angeles returned the indictment against Gladys Vasquez Valenzuela, 36; her sisters, Mirna Jeanneth, 26, and Albertina, 49; and Albertina's daughter, Maria Vicente de los Angeles, 28.
The four face charges of sex trafficking of minors; sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion; violating federal laws prohibiting interstate or foreign transport of minors for prostitution; and importing and harboring undocumented immigrants and harboring them for prostitution.
Five others also were charged in the indictment for their roles in the scheme, including guarding the women to prevent them from escaping, threatening their families in Guatemala, and beating and forcing the women to work, authorities said.
Four of the female defendants were arrested in December during raids in Los Angeles. One additional suspect, Flor Morales Sanchez, 33, was arrested Thursday. Six defendants remain in custody without bond. Another, Maribel Rodriguez Vasquez, is a fugitive.
A lawyer representing Luis Vicente Vasquez, 31, who faces counts of bringing women into the country illegally for prostitution, denies his client did anything wrong.
"We are going to court on this," attorney Philip Deitch said.
Attorney Errol Stambler, who represents Mirna Jeanneth Vasquez, said his client was a victim, not a trafficker. He said his own investigation revealed she had been forced into prostitution to repay smugglers who brought her to the U.S, and that her pimp forced her to house teenage prostitutes.
Messages left with two other attorneys representing defendants were not immediately returned.
The investigation began last year when two victims escaped with the help of a male customer and contacted authorities, according to the U.S. attorney's office.
Two other victims were rescued by investigators in November. Ten women at the locations raided also were believed to have been working as prostitutes.
