Lily Allen has cancelled another string of shows.
The British singer cancelled most of her American tour earlier this summer, cuz she was tired and shiz. This time, though, she's "sick" and she made sure to get a doctor's note to prove it.
Lily posted the above pic and the following note on her MySpace blog.
She says….

Hello everybody ,
Ive have literally been around the whole world in two weeks from London to Japan around Australia and then to LA and Vegas then back to LA for a 17 hour video shoot , and now I'm back in London eating my mums chicken soup cause im afraid the travelling has caught up with me . I've got sinusitis and strep throat ( i don't even know what that is ) and have been advised to take a couple of weeks off by a doctor in LA and a doctor here .Before anyone starts trying to accuse me of neglecting my fans I want to apologise and say how sorry I am , but I cant risk causing any permanent damage . I hope people can understand and arent too angry .
The cancelled gigs are as follows
Oya Festival - Norway
Way Out West Festival - Gothenburg -Sweden
Sagres - Portugal
Lowlands Festival - Biddinghuizen -Holland

Her doctor diagnosed her with "pharyngitis" or inflammation of the pharynx (basically the back of the throat/voice box/etc… The Dr. restricted her (from singing, I suppose) from August 10 through August 17, 2007 in that note.
In my view, Lily Allen isn't a big enough star to be pulling stuff like this! If i were her id want al the shows i could get. Lily get out of your own ass and do your shows

Strep throat, or her pharyngitis, is no longer contagious after 24 hours of antibiotics. Sinusitis, or a sinus infection, takes like, a week to get over and is treated with antibiotics as well. Any normal person with this diagnosis would be told to take a day or so off, at tops three, and get back to their job! A couple of weeks? Stupid. She's too lazy for me to listen to her music.
