The Rush Hour franchise is over.

The poorly-reviewed third film opened this weekend to a very disappointing $50.2 at the box office in the U.S. That's $17.2 million lower than Rush Hour 2's opening in 2001!

The HOT Bourne Ultimatum did another $34 million in weekend two.

Despite a celebrity packed cast, Stardust made a paltry $8.6 million its debut weekend.

The Simpsons movie continues to kill, taking in another $11.1 mill.

And, Adam Sandler has added another milestone to his career. His latest film, I Now Pronounce You has crossed the $100 million mark.

      Actually, I watched the film twice and thought it was pretty freakin' hilarious.
      It was quick and to the point. Critics, most of the time, do not know SHIT.

      Philantrophist and world-traveler Chris Tucker has lost his edge. Now that he's all educated, he doesn't believe in cursing, using the "N" word, and other stuff that made him funny back in the day. Oh well, that's good in a way, but it will also loose him a big chuck of his audience. Hence the poor opening. Or maybe people are just broke and more selective of what they pay $9 to see.

      We'll see what the financial figures of Rush Hour 3 are once it finishes its theatre run and after it debuts on DVD!

      It was hilarious!!!!!

      There was more cursing though in this one and more sexual oriented scenes though than the previous ones.

      The jokes just kept on coming though! One after another. I loved it!

      The franchise will continue as long as Chris Tucker wants to do it again.

      $50.2 MILLION is a bomb????? It's funny how an indie film is a huge success if it takes in a few million dollars but something like this is considered a failure. Content aside (I'm not a fan), it's still far from a flop. They'll recoup any loss & turn a profit in DVDs.

      Are you retarded? I couldn't care less about the film, but its the fourth biggest opener in August of all time. It EXCEEDED all expectations. $50.2 million is not a disappointing figure. Not one person in the industry or someone who knows what they're talking about has said so. C'mon. You'd bash it if it made $100 million. Grow up.

      50 Mil isnt a flop thats right where they thought it would be, after its runs over it will be around 150 mil domestically.       HERE'S AN HONEST REVIEW OF THE MOVIE:

      I saw this movie yesterday, so I'll give you an honest review of it. I think it took quite awhile for Hollywood to come out with Rush Hour 3. When you go see the movie, you will have to jar your memory because some of the characters re-surface from the previous Rush Hour movies. So you see some references to the past and wonder, ok…what happened in the last movie?

      This sequel is not better than the previous ones. Rush Hour I is the best of the triology, by far. I found Chris Tucker to have alot more comedic edge in the first one. The chemistry between Jackie Chan & Chris Tucker is undeniable. It's what makes the whole Rush Hour franchise. There are many parts that will leave you laughing/smiling.

      I give it 2 1/2 stars out of a four star rating. It is entertaining and it's the typical Hollywood action formula. It is good fluff if you want to laugh. If it comes down to it: spend your money to watch the Bourne sequel, better. Wait until this one comes out on DVD, it's not better than the original. But if you want a laugh and money is no object, spend the money to see it at a theater.
