The album has been out in certain parts of Europe for ages, but With Every Heartbeat was a new song added to her record for the U.K. re-release (out later this year) and the song JUST went to #1 in Great Britain this week.
Things are so hot for her right now, that Robyn is even rumored to be working with Britney!
We can't stop listening to Robyn's record. It's the best pop album in ages!
The Show Me Love singer, who burst onto the global music scene in the '90s, did this album on her own - financing it herself and initially releasing it on her own label.

Robyn does kick ass but Perez, you gotta get over yourself…..stick to what you do best, drawing cum on Lindsay Lohan's picture.

really Perez! in sweden (robyn is swedish), her album isnt even considered one of the top 10 albums this year! you should take a listen to some other swedish pop songs right now. they are all extremely catchy (and yeah, they sing in english), they are so much better than the american pop crap,. and most importantly, there are probably about 100 swedish pop songs from the past 5 years that are are better than Robyns songs. most of them dont make it to the US, but they are huge in Europe and I think Asia.

I got this alblum a week ago and I can't stop listening to it. It is absolutely incredible! I never thought I'd here from Robyn again after the 90s, but here she is and better than she ever has been. I can imagine why people in the US might not like her, she is a bit more advanced than the standard pop-smoothie blended up by the likes of Timbaland, Brit, and JT-Lake. I hope people get into it here so she'll come and tour.
This album came out such a long time ago. Everyone and their mother has heard BE MINE. It was reviewed and lauded on Pitchfork. People have been saying Robyn is amazing for so long now. This news is old, much like most of what you report. Finger to the pulse, my butt.

THAT's why Robyn is all over the place once again with the same material as 2 years ago. C'mon, give the poor American chaps a break, they're not exactly served with the best pop music as we are in Sweden. I mean, people over there listen to Ashley Simpson! Can you imagine the cultural drought they have to put up with? They don't even know that Robyn was still making hits after Show Me Love. Most of them hardly know where Sweden is on a map. m (#58), you can't blame Robyn for making a point about this. It's Sweden. Racism IS a huge problem here, it's one of the most segregated countries in Europe. The world's most popular white power music comes from here. People get beaten down all the time and even shot for just having dark hair. Sverige Demokraterna (right-wing extremist political party that wants to keep Sweden white) are more popular than ever among swedish youth. The n-word is not even considered an insult here. Not to mention how hard it is to get a job, housing, proper health care at the hospital, to get inside a night-club or to be taken seriously by the police or by any officials for that matter if your name sounds outlandish (with the exception of the anglo-saxon sounding ones of course) or if you have an accent. If an immigrant kills someone, he is considered a blood-thirsty chauvinistic pig. If a swede kills someone under the exact same circumpstances, he's supposedly the victim of some mental illness. Because "swedish people are sweet and innocent while foreigners are evil-minded don't you know"? People find it perfectly normal to be suspicious of foreigners, they can't be trusted right? "they think so differently and have no respect for the swedish way of life". People in Sweden often either consider you as a potential rapist or danger for public safety if you're a man or as uneducated weak little thing oppressed by your entire family if you're a woman.
As silly as it might sound to say "I'm against racism" (who's not, right? It's like saying you're against cancer), in this country it IS worth mentioning every now and then. Sweden used to be super progressive, but that was ages ago. Basic things like "racism is bad" need to be repeated regularly to make sure they sink into people's heads.
Really, I'm surprised you're making such a comment, having yourself experienced what it is like to be a foreigner in Sweden. You must be american, you guys have it easy here. but in either case, good/bad, old/new, the nice thing here is that she, and whats more - that our lovely country - gets some positive attention out there, thats pretty cool, and much deserved with the music success that weve had in the recent decades (more among producers/songwriters than among artists - after Cardigans, Ace of Base and Roxette there hasnt been much buzz about Swedish ones, seriously (sure, The Sounds on the Rolling Stones cover, but then what happened, and the Japanese success among Swedish bands is of course nice, but you do need the American media and public to make real money), so yes, its much deserved, but please stop with that attitutude about americans
- try watch american idol and then compare it to the Swedish version - jeez, i mean sure we are blonde and cute, but the quality SUCKS,,, Im sorry but thats the way it is - im sure Danny, SnyggErik etc etc get some crowds at their concerts, but on the whole the contestants truly stink compared to the american ones, same thing with So you wanna be a rock star - thats real talent, and not common to find among our Swedish contestants,,, so stop the bs about the US, and enjoy the nice attention from Perez, which hopefully will make Robyn sell some records and give good PR for our wonderful country - go for it girl! =)

Really? I agree with all those who put YOU on BLAST, perezzer. As much as I love you, Robyn's song Be Mine was HUGE like 5 years ago. You should go abroad more often and then come back with the goods on music, rather than just reporting the good artists after you finally hear about them. Robyn IS awesome, but you need to hire some people to do some real background history.
