Amy Enters Rehab! Finally!!!!
After a false alarm last week that she had checked in to a treatment facility, Amy Winehouse has finally entered rehab.
The Mirror is reporting that the Rehab singer flew to a treatment center in America this past weekend to deal with an addiction to heroin and cocaine.
Wino's husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, is also entering rehab with her for his own addictions.
The last straw for Amy's family was when her best friend, Juliette Ashby, caught her smoking heroine on Friday night, just days after her scary drug overdose.
Winehouse's father, Mitch, got into a huge fight with Blake's parents.
The twosome eventually agreed to get treatment. They have surrendered their cell phones and cut off all contact with the outside world.
Rehab rarely works the first time, but hopefully it will stick with Amy - or at least guide her in the right direction.

Heroin is such a disgusting, terrible addiction. I really am praying for her. Of course, none of us know the intentions of her husband, but I'm glad that he's allegedly agreed to get treatment, as well. Having relationships in early sobriety is not recommended, but the situation is quite different when it's a husband and wife both recovering. It can either me the best or scariest thing in the world.

I'm so glad to hear both Amy and her husband are getting help. And I'm one of the blessed folks in recovery that's been to rehab once, stayed sober, coming up on 3 years-I did it one day at a time. Good luck Amy and Mr. Amy!

I love her music and the fact that she's not just a cookie cutter image of all the other pop "stars". Her addictions are part of what make her music so soulful.
