With all due respect to mourning people, to place the weight loss blame on the loss of a parent is nonsense. I lost both of my parents, and did not become a skeleton. I knew it was especially important then to pay attention to my nutrition as my kids would need me. I lost a bit, but then ate well and walked miles to stay fit but more to get the sadness out. This kind of weight loss attributed to 'mourning' just smacks of more drama diva. There are balanced and then unbalanced ways to deal with life's shitty curve balls. Was her massive weight loss even attributed to her mourning the loss of her Mom? Perhaps she's really ill with an actual cause. None of us really knows.
