Amy Winehouse's little "break" is just temporary, her publicist (Tracey Miller) said on Thursday.

The Rehab singer - who may or may not be in rehab - has just cancelled all her August appearances.

However, her rep says that Wino is still committed to her U.S. tour in September and she will be making an appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas on September 9th. She's nominated for three Moon Men.

When it comes to Amy, though, don't have any expectations. Then there won't be any disappointment!

i like amy winehouse's music, if she is in rehab, i certainly hope she's doing well. i actually understand why they aren't really making it clear why she is on a "break", since she wrote a song about rehab, as you all know, and she says she won't go in the lyrics…and it would be a little bit of a contridiction of herself if she went public about it. being secretive is certainly NOT the issue for winehouse, since she writes really open songs and doesn't really seem to care all THAT much about her personal life. if keith urban can be open about his rehab stint, amy can…but i think this isn't really a matter of americans. we shouldnt be dealing with amy winehouse in our tabloids, she's a british singer… i DO enjoy her music, but i wish she'd kind of steer clear out of our tabloids. yes, her music is pretty sick…and there are some unknown tracks on her album that are MUCH better than you know im no good and rehab, such as tears dry on their own and he can only hold her, but they are probably not gonna become hit singles. instead of worrying about whether or not she's at rehab, people should be embracing her talent and her CD beyond whats played on the radio.

Amy has more talent than we've seen in a long time. She is amazing. I think of Janis Joplin and how we were left with a few, but wonderful, songs that are legendary. Amy's songs are sure to be listened to for a long time and I hope she realizes what a fabulous talent she is. Get well, Amy!

Love Amy, but sad that the world may lose her. Addiction is a terrible thing; it's just graps hold of you and won't let go. Many, many people have compared her to Janis Joplin. Whatever her demons are, they started long before she became rock n' roll's wild child. I think her voice is amazing and I love her songs. But is wearing her mental illness like a cheap coat. I hope and pray she turns her life around. It's possible; others have done it. But it will take a ton of courage and commitment on her part. Lots of tme the pipe, the bottle, the needle, they win. And we lose.

She IS still in rehab - she left briefly on Tuesday but is back now. She travelled up from the rehab place by helicopter to her home in Camden to fetch her guitar and went back by car, giving fans who were wating outside her home a thumbs up to say she is OK. She actually looked quite well rested.

Get better soon Amy and come back to work!

Whitney Houston Last Performance! Sang Yes, Jesus Loved Me The Night Before Her Death!

We have truly lost one of the greats today.

Whitney Houston has passed away at the age of 48, and although the cause of her death is currently unknown, she made an appearance last night at the Kelly Price & Friends Unplugged: For The Love of R&B Grammy Party at True Hollywood, and even took the stage to sing what sadly, ended up being her last public performance.
