hello all

v festival was great, thanks to everybody who came ,

i just want all my fans to know this ,
I have called george bush a c**t at pretty much every show i have played over the past year , that is because I think he is one and i stand by that . You can make up your own mind as to whether you agree with me or not , thats just how i feel . Just because i hate george bush doesnt mean I hate america , quite the opposite , I think the US is a great place and I am really sad that I cant be there for my commitments scheduled for the near future . what i said about George Bush this weekend bears no relation to what happened a couple of weeks ago with my visa , that is an issue with the US immigration service . I just wanted to let you all know that my " foul mouthed tirade " so widely reported over the past couple of days is actually pretty rehearsed and ive beeen saying it long before all this visa issue .
also me raising a drink to Amy , was just that , showing my support for her . I've been around enough substance abuse and alcoholism to know that it's a serious matter , and not to be taken lightly .
im sorry, i wanted to write this because i felt like if i didn't say anything you all might believe the rubbish your being fed .

I am so sick of these celebrities bashing our pres…tell this chick to go to Iraq or Iran or any other Muslim country and see if she could even sing her music or rant like she likes to do. Her ass would be covered from head to toe and she wouldn't be able to speak a word! I do not care for Lily Allen (the person or the musician), but what I will say in her defense is that the word "cunt" does not mean the same thing in the UK as it does in the US. It's a far less offensive word in th UK than here in the states. Regardless, she needs to keep her mouth shut because all that she ends up looking like is a spoiled, whiny little cunt (the US version!). M.I.A., a far more influential and talented musician, was denied entry to the US because of her ESTRANGED father's affiliation with a radical Sri Lankan political party. She never did anything violent, such as attacking a paparazzi in a drunken haze, like Miss Allen did. Maybe Lily should keep that in mind and make herself scarce.

You know I find it surprising that the Dixie Chicks were totally black-balled by many radio stations and received death threats yet Lily Allen (really, only know who she is from Perez, never actually heard her music so can't comment) can call Bush a c*nt and not so much as a whimper is heard…strange; the tide must have changed. She should keep her mouth shut unless she has something fresh, insightful and intelligent to say. I wish commenter's would stop slagging her for being a little chubby though.
