Pete Doherty is a free man again. After spending the night in custody, Kate Moss's ex-boyfriend walked out of a London court on Tuesday and got into a waiting Jaguar car, giving the waiting media a two-fingered salute as he went.
The Babyshambles frontman appeared at West London Magistrates Court charged with breaching his bail for a previous arrest, in which he admitted possessing a number of Class A drugs.
However, the charge of breaching conditional bail was dropped against Doperty because of a legal technicality - apparently he was not presented to the court within 24 hours of his arrest.
District Judge Susan Williams said the court had no jurisdiction as the defendant had been arrested at 2.35am Monday morning on drug possession.
THANKFULLY, Pete the junky will still have to answer that charge in court at a later time, but for now, he's free to smoke a much crack as he wants!
