#100 - good point. Someone on another forum brought up a good question - why is Efron going to a public gym, instead of working out of the public eye with a personal trainer? Simple answer - his handlers at CAA are trying to cast an image of athleticism about him, to combat the overwhelming fem vibes that he gives off. Same with all the talk in interviews of him "loving to surf" - what better archetype to put before the public than "Zac the 100% heterosexual, all-American surfer-athlete"? If the simplistic minded want to buy the myth that the people at 2000 Avenue of the Stars are selling - fine. But please don't criticize those of us who have working brains and can see this attempted hagiography for what it is…..
