The Australian actress is one of several people to portray the legendary musican in the sanctioned biopic I'm Not There, directed by the great Todd Haynes.

Some footage has magically appeared on the Internets of Cate as Bob in the movie.

That was not believable at all. Cate is a great actress, but her hand movements were still very feminine with the cigarette and her high apple cheeks…woman! Her voice was pretty feminine too. I'm not sold on her playing this part.

As a well-versed Dylanite, I can tell you that she is uncanny in her portrayal - at least based on what's seen of his public footage. Definitely looks the part as well. I'ts sort of weird that she's a woman, though. Maybe this can be a new avenue of acting where opposite sexes can seriously portray each other, not ala Hairspray Big Momma, and Madea, etc. Pretty interesting. Bravo Cate! Kudos Bob

Bob Dylan is so so so so so so incedibly over-rated it blows my mind. He would fit right into today with the Timberlakes and the Hiltons and the Mayers. This scene I assume is taken from that video of Dylan and John Lennon in the backseat of a limo and Dylan basically makes an drugged out ass of himself, you can literally see it for yourself on Youtube if you do a search. Lennon is listening to this pretentious bitch looking pretty disgusted as well he should be because Dylan did what rappers do today, which is rap over other peoples music and melodies while yapping BS lyrics that anyone could write in two seconds.

Everyone who is saying the character is still carrying a slight air of femininity is correct, but if you know anything or have actually seen old videos of Bob Dylan, than you know that it's not that far off the mark.

Everyone who says it's bad doesn't know what they're supposed to be comparing it to.

PS. When I saw David Cross was playing Alan G. I pretty much wet myself. That's the best casting EVER.

the entire movie has a couple of actors to portray Boby Dylan, that's the whole point. Throughout the different times of his life, there are different actors. It's a great idea and is something not often seen in Hollywood. The director chose a woman for a reason. It's original and creates some sort of representation. What that respresentation is, we'll have to wait and find out.

i met Allan Ginsberg at a poetry reading he gave at Williams college, he is a trip. I shook his hand, Bob Dylan shook my hand too, on another occasion which all seems trippy to me now, especially just seeing them reinacted in this video clip.

Criss Angel Is Recorded Threatening To Knock Out His Producer!

Whoa! Criss Angel is NOT messing around here!

The Luxor headlining illusionist was recorded having quite the verbal altercation with Joe Monti, one of his magic producers on Wednesday, during which Angel is heard threatening to knock him out - and now he's had a police report filed against him!

Furthermore, Monti later said to authorities that he recorded the meeting because Angel has a history of bullying employees!

He explains:

“I wanted him to know how demeaning he was. I created 50-60 percent of the magic for ‘Mindfreak.' I have no reason to do anything vindictively but I draw the line on violence.”
