So he has acne & covers it with makeup….big deal. He probably covers it because of stupid people like you. Proactiv doesn't work for a lot of people, and there are many reasons a person can get acne that they have little control over. It's a struggle for many people to keep their skin clear. A lot of it is genetic.
If girls have the luxury of wearing foundation to cover acne, why can't a man?

I met him when I worked at Dylan's Candy Bar in Manhattan- he wears TONS of foundation that's way darker then his skin tone. He was however, a very nice guy

I can't actually believe what I'm seeing. Acne is not a dirt infection. Nor is it anyones fault. Millions of people, not just teenagers, go through this. Facial blemishes are not caused by dirt. Contrary to what you may have seen in commercials, pores do not get blocked from the top down due to "impurities". Rather, the walls of a pore stick together within the skin, starting acne formation. Far from preventing acne, frequent washing may actually irritate pores and cause them to become clogged. A washcloth can add even more irritation. Its all to do with Hormones, not how much you wash, stuff you eat. These are myths that must be expelled. People look down on acne sufferers as if they are dirty, rejects of society and its time for that to stop. Its not fair for adolesence to be an excuse for hierarchy in society.
