Lindsay Going To Jail!
Lindsay Lohan plead guilty to the nine misdemeanor charges - including two DUIs - against her on Wednesday.
The actresses' high-powered attorney was able to score a deal with the LA District Attorney that was pretty painless.
By law, because Lohan plead no contest to two counts of DUI, she becomes a second offender with two DUIs and like Nicole Richie must serve a minimum of four days in jail.
The judge just said Lindsay will serve 36 months probation and attend an alcohol education program for 18 months for the first DUI.
As for the second DUI plea, she's ordered to serve 48 hours in jail. She must serve 24 hours by January 18th. Lohan had already served time when she was arrested and that will count towards her sentence.
Lindsay must also perform 10 days of community service and she was ordered "not to associate with people with controlled substances."
Lohan was not in court today. She's still on vacation in rehab in Utah.
On January 18th, Lindsay must show the court that she's successfully completed rehab.
All in all, the sweetness of celebrity justice scored Lindsay the MINIMUM possible sentence mandated by the law for a two time DUI offender in California, that's four days in jail.

people really have no concept of the legal system. this sentence is not really atypical, and the bartering down to lower crimes is also the norm. happens ALL the time–not just for celebs.
Plus, Perez–I'm pretty sure she pleaded no contest (nolo contendere), as opposed to guilty. There is a big difference in terms of the consequences.
Clearly they tried to make an "example" of Paris. An example of what though I'm not sure. She served 23 days for driving on a suspended license! Now its right back to celebrity preferential treatment. Clearly everyone thought Paris' sentence was excessive and Lindsay's is beyond lenient. So whatever the LA courts attempted to prove to the public…they failed miserably. All they demonstrated is their support of being a bratty, entitled, self absorbed, drug using, drunk driving, accident scene leaving, car chasing, double offender….Those are some priorities. Even the judges out there are just trying to get TV shows.

I happened to come across this blog and couldn't resist commenting here. It is retarded how everyone is so consumed with lives of others and whatnot. There are more crucial things in life than obsessing with people that we don't know and it is actually very 'stalker-like'. I agree that she is a retard herself, however, the people who are so tied up with media-nonsense are the true morons in society and should consider to get a life or let go of in its entirety. Ouch!
I wasn't surprised by her sentence. She, naturally, will not learn from her lesson and will be back on the party scene blowing lines in 1 weeks time. Her career is runined, no one will ever hire her again. She will hopefully be a nobidy in year.

I'm not defending Paris in any way but how is it fair that Blohan gets 2 days in jail with time already served for 2 DUI's, smashing her car into a tree and fleeing the scene and cocaine possession and Paris gets 23 days for violating her probabtion by driving on a suspended license? Paris wasn't drunk or on drugs when she drove on the suspended license but Blohan was. Paris only got 1 DUI and she wasn't way over the limit from what I recall - she blew a .08 which is the legal limit anyway. If Paris had to serve 23 days for that, then Blohan should be in the clink for at least 6 months to a year.

This is SUCH BS, I can't even speak. Not only do I know several people with two DUIs, but I've gotten one in LA, and TRUST, we all got MUCH worse than this. One of my friends had 6 months of community service! I - for 1 DUI of .08 (the legal limit) got 4 days in jail - and I spent EVERY Second of it. I can't believe people say this is normal. IT is SO not. She got off so easy, it's blatant misjustice. I will forever HATE this BITCH for once again not taking responsibility. And that judge, get his sorry ass off the bench. well i hit a car and drove away and then totaled my car with weed in my car after driving on the wrong side of the road with a provisional license (past the cerfew or whatever) and my lawyer had it ALL reduced to 1 charge of obstructing traffic (for only about a $1000 fee), so yes, this does happen to real people, too. not just celebs. thank god i'm not black, tho!!
