Thursday afternoon, mom-to-be, Nicole Richie, surrendered to law enforcement officials in Los Angeles.

She's currently resting comfortably far away from all the other convicts. Her stay in the country club is expected to last only 2 days, four max.

Too bad she won't be bunking with Lindsay! That hoe will be locked up in a couple of months.

She was only sentenced to 90 hours to begin with. Due to overcrowding, MOST people who have short sentences are out very quickly. This isn't a celeb thing–just a result of jails being WAY too full. And her sentence isn't that outrageous to begin with–drunk driving just doesn't carry big sentences unfortunately.
