The first official picture of Ariel in Disney's new Broadway-bound musical adaptation of The Little Mermaid.

Sierra Boggess portrays the title character, and the show is currently having an out of town workshop run in Denver.

We are sooooo gonna be all over this shiz!

The Little Mermaid is one of our favoritest musicals.

Admit it, Part Of Your World rocks you hardcore. One of the best songs evah!

Also, the best Disney movie ever- it made me not feel like a redheaded freak at age 5 when I was surrounded by a bunch of girls who looked like their blonde-haired Barbies! I heart Ariel!!!! She's one of the only famous redheads that ISN'T a trainwreck (Lindsay, Carrot Top)…LOL!

1. I want to bone Prince Eric. Yes- I am aware he is an animated character- but damn his hair is so dreamy.

2. The little mermaid is my favorite. If you ever have a question about life, but yourself in Ariel's fins and swim around in them for a day.

I think it is funny that the illustrators threw in some dirty things into some Disney movies. Granted I would be upset if I had children but I don't

to # 53, i think in the grimms fairy tale, she kills prince eric and his wife (there was no evil sea queen) in order for her to be accepted back in her family.
i know, morbid. but i actually read this version when i was young before i saw the disney version.

Yo…saw this in Denver. Brings back great movie memories but leaves you a little cold. The woman who plays Ursula is amazing, as is Ariel and Sebastian. The whole show feels like a glorified cabaret act and the new added songs sorta suck. However, girls 10 and under with go crazy for it!

I saw it a couple of weeks ago and I've been telling all my friends to go see it before it leaves Denver. It was AWESOME! The set is amazing, the way the ship drops down from the ceiling is really cool. The use skates to imitate the movement of water, and it works really well. Sierra was fab, and so was the woman who played Ursula.

To #53 and #76…In one version she kills the prince to get back with her family, and in another version she loves him so much that she decides that she would rather let him be happy, so she dies (by becoming sea foam). I don't remember which is the Grimm's tale and which is another book, but I have read both versions.

Sierra Boggess has a fantastic voice …saw her perform many times in IL when she was in college just a few years ago. She's moved up the ranks very quickly! She'll be a fantastic Ariel.

I actually went to see this a few weeks ago. She is absolutely amazing and the production of the show is so ingenious. Wait until you see how they make the fish appear to swim. This thing rocks!

Little Mermaid was a tale from Hans Christian Anderson. Big differences? Every step Ariel took was like having hot knives thrust into her feet. Yet, she was a beautiful dancer so everyone always wanted her to dance and she would, despite the pain. In the end, Ariel doesn't get her man. She turns into foam and floats away - which is a wonderful metaphor. Basically, she gave up her authentic self which was horribly painful and rendered her invisible.

Britney Spears & Demi Lovato's First X Factor Critique! Listen Here!

Girls are on fire!!!

We won't get to see how the ladies did until the fall, but today in Austin, Britney Spears and Demi Lovato took their seats as the new judges on The X Factor. Someone had the foresight of smuggling in a recording device to the Texas auditions and we've got the audio from the ladies' first critique!

And you know what? They sound like old pros!
