Owen Wilson Suicide Attempt!!!!!
This is just incredibly shocking.
Owen Wilson's emergency hospitalization on Sunday was the result of a suicide attempt, The National Enquirer and Star magazine are exclusively reporting.
Sources tell the mags that Wilson sliced his left wrists and took an indeterminate amount of pills.
Wow. Wow. Wow.
Owen was discovered by a family member who summoned help.
Police and an ambulance responded to a 911 call from Wilson's house in Los Angeles around noon on Sunday.
Owen is said to be in stable condition at the moment.
This is hardcore.
Suicide is never a good option, kids.

National Enquirer editor-in-chief David Perel tells PerezHilton.com….
"Owen Wilson has now been transferred from St. John's to another Los Angeles area hospital. His brothers Andrew and Luke are with him.
"Andrew found him after the suicide attempt and called an ambulance. Both of Owen's wrists were slashed superficially and Owen had taken an overdose of pills.
"Owen was found with a nearly empty bottle of pills next to him. He was at his house in Santa Monica."

Its really one helluva mess Owen must have gotten into… Beyond the glitter of fame and fortune in Hollywood, celebrities are paying such a high price for those who can't handle it.
I absolutely love Owen and I wish nothing but the best for him!!! This is extremely upsetting, but hopefully with the help he needs and family by his side, he will have an awesome comeback!!! I am rooting for you Owen!!!

Owen, you have looks, charisma, talent, money….. Why can't you count your blessings..with all that you have been blessed with. Look around at the people worse off than you…the ones on the streets that don't even know where or when their next meal will be or people with severe handicaps. I sincerely believe that you people in Hollywood are spoiled rotten. If only there was a mandatory common sense class before anyone becomes famous, maybe us common folks wouldn't get disgusted reading about celebrities taking everything for granted. RULE NO.1 SUICIDE IS NOT AN OPTION!
Warning: Long Rant. WTF is wrong with some of you? I just can't believe some1 could be so vile as to encourage or wish death on anyone, especially some1 they don't know. Wilson is suddenly not a person because he's wealthy and successful. Just about everyone on the planet is responsible for the amt of money A-list actors command. If you can't handle it, stop going to the movies and rental store. Besides, wealth, success, power, privilege, etc. do not make an individual immune to serious problems. Who knows what personal demons this guy has to cope with? I highly doubt it was a publicity stunt, as some are suggesting. "Yeah, that'll make 'em laugh, i'll be irresistibly funny now!" His career as a leading comedy actor is looking very dodgy. Lot of blame circulating, but the simple truth is that he v. likely suffers from severe depression. The drug abuse most likely began as an attempt to escape it. People of Wilson's age and circumstance don't usually commit suicide because they're upset with their Mom/Dog/Girlfriend or because they're having a bad week. Severe depression is difficult to understand unless you've experienced it first-hand. The feelings of despair and hopelessness that accompany this type of depression is intense, all-consuming, chronic, difficult to control, and impossible to "wish" yourself out of by thinking happy thoughts or having some fun.
As for those suggesting that Wilson's methods and failure is evidence of his sexual orientation or masculinity, please get a phD in psychiatry or psychology before you vomit up any more absurdities. It's not uncommon for people to dope themselves before they attempt their 'backup' plan. Kurt Cobain took a lethal dose of heroin and then shot himself & I've never come upon any discussion of the hetero/homosexual merits of his decision. Wilson might not have been lucid and/or sufficiently coordinated to issue a fatal cut to his wrists (could explain why he made two cuts on the same wrist). Then again, maybe he doesn't own a gun or was worried he would fail and wind up with brain damage and no nose; maybe he didn't have a plan in place and used what was handy. Perhaps you hate him, can't pity him, or believe he's a priviledged, ungrateful idiot, but if all you can say is "I wish you died", I hope for your sake, you never find yourself in a similar state. Don't think that your personality/inner strength/success/positivity, etc. gives you control over your serotonin levels. Also, keep in mind that a cry for help means just that. It doesn't mean you're looking for attention or sympathy, but rather that you're desperate for help - often suicidal persons don't know how to help themselves or have tried and failed.
Owen seems like a nice guy poor guy must be in alot of pain. I hope he'll get better.
