Famewhoring father Michael Lohan is finally getting his dream - a reunion with estranged daughter Lindsay.

Dina is reportedly okay with the decision.

"It was actually her older brother, Michael's, idea. It's a part of the healing process," a friend said. "Lindsay will see him later this week, but she will have counselors with her. It will not be alone."

Daddy will visit Lindsay at her rehab facility in Utah.

"Dina thinks it is a good idea," the friend said. "Lindsay needs to deal with this and needs closure."

We expect Michael to have a press release right after the reunion!

      Let's let Dina and Michael have their kids, but all attack Brit's parenting skills. WHAT IS THIS? WHY do people continually go after Brit. For bad dental hygene? At least she isn't partying with her kids. Why don't the child protection people go after these parents instead of wasting their time and our money on Brit?       I believe that no matter what your parents do, they're still you parents and nothing can change that. We all make mistakes and deserve second chances. It will probably do Lindsey loads of good to sit down and talk to him, and realise that parents are only human… Also she's only really heard her mum's version of events, so it would be good to have some balance.
      Good luck to Linds, hope she's back out making films and parting soon! But stay away from Calum, he's a walking STI!!!!!

      Meeting with family members, while still in the rehab facility and with counselors present, is pretty standard for recovery. Sounds to me like she truly wants to move forward with her life. To expect closure after a single confrontation/meeting/ammends attempt is a little unrealistic though. Hopefully it's a step in the right direction.

      I decided to write another Michael Lohan story, well just because the guy is funny. When he got out of prison he made sure everyone knew that he would love to do a reality TV show about his life as Lindsay’s dad.

      Obviously, Dina and the rest of the family hated the idea and didn’t want anything to do with it. That didn’t stop super dad! He reportedly had crews follow him around during his divorce battle with Dina and he has some great footage. The so-called show is being apprently shopped around as we speak.

      Maybe that’s why Lindsay and Michael are going to meet this week? Maybe they are going to shoot for the reality show or to discuss the upcoming show? Hey with this family, anything is possible!

      Is it really any wonder that lindsay is the way she is? I mean, really, neither one of these parents seem to care about their children's wellbeing. They are both very selfish ppl who can't stop talking to the press about their personal lives. Parents who are divorcing shouldn't be putting down the other parent to their children…let alone the whole world. They are two attention-seeking ppl who can't see the damage they are doing or just don't care. What the both of them are doing is NOT in the best interest of the children and it surprises me that they are allowed to do this…..
