Despite his best effort to remain in hiding, Britney Spears's former manager, Larry Rudolph, was subpoenaed Thursday morning, PerezHilton.com can exclusively reveal.
He was handed a summons to appear in court in the ongoing baby battle between the former pop star and Kevin Federline.
Orchestrated by K-Fed's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, Rudolph was served inside a Sunset Tan location in West Los Angeles.
If the fake sun didn't do it, then this must definitely burn!
Rudolph had tried to stay in hiding because he felt his testimony in court could hurt Britney's custody case.

I would have thought that if he felt his testimony would hurt Britney's custody case then it's exactly the sort of evidence that should be heard. Testimony should be put forward irrespective of personal bias - it's up to the judge to decide the relevance.

Giving subpoenas doesn't mean anything. He could serve 100 but that doesn't mean a damn thing but that's exactly what K-Fed wants the public to see. Him doing something. For those who say K-Fed is only in it for the money and didn't have problems with her parenting skills when they were together - come one. Britney has had a very public, very marked decline in her behavior since they broke up. I think he kept his mouth shut and didn't fight for custody because he wanted to hold onto his settlement money. Now that Britney has become such a drug addled train wreck, partying all day every day, Fed-ex can't turn his back and walk away. Especially if Britney can't seem to keep a nanny around. It makes him look worse to not sue for full custody and sit by while this woman neglects her children.

I agree with # 41 and #8 but I have a different take. Maybe he made it so obvious that he really wanted to be served amidst the "hiding" because he wanted to be picked so he could save her and clear her name…He may have not been picked if he didn't draw so much attention to himself and go into "hiding". This way people are expecting him to destroy her in court by his info, but his testimony will turn out to be totally different.
