Britney's new single, Gimme More, has finally dropped!!!!

It's not bad. It's not amazing. But it is very good, considering our girl's a little rusty.

We're kinda welling up with tears. There's still room for improvement, but this is a very good start!!!

First time I've ever been compelled to write a comment on Perezhilton.com

What exactly are we celebrating here? Britney's amazing voice? Vocal range? Lyrics? Or typical overproduced garbage that anyone in a studio can create? I mean, not that Britney is hot, but people like Amy Winehouse NOT because she can breathe heavily and moan in a song but because she can SING. God, this is such studio trash…I honestly can't believe anyone likes it. I mean, it sounds exactly like something she could have sang 5 years ago..there is no personal growth. This song SUCKS. There is no substance and it doesn't even sound like a human singing. I hate to say it but I even preferred Heidi's demo to this.

I absolutely despise Britney's nature in public and the way she portrays herself in public. I resent that someone who is behaving like her is still being idolized in trashy tabloids. This is a great comeback song. Sadly, with all of the bad press that brands her so negatively, I jam until I hear her name and then it makes me want to turn it off (just being honest). Girls are on fire!!!

We won't get to see how the ladies did until the fall, but today in Austin, Britney Spears and Demi Lovato took their seats as the new judges on The X Factor. Someone had the foresight of smuggling in a recording device to the Texas auditions and we've got the audio from the ladies' first critique!

And you know what? They sound like old pros!
